Suffer and Bless
Suffer and Bless
By Arley Steinhour 070913
The Sun is up, The windows shut,
before third hour of this day,
Some of mankind, in comfort, strut,
In life with 'Air-conditioned' sway.
From a brother in Jesus, I received a plea,
On the Facebook channel, Worldwide,
'Rainy Season,' destroyed home of his family,
From life's dangers, there's no place to hide.
With excessive Weather, flooding runs free,
In Middle East, winter begins and threatens,
The Monsoon Season, Three months it be,
Wrecks havoc whenever it deepens.
A shack, called home, mostly of block,
Can't stand to the pressures of flood,
Without proper footing, some fall like a rock,
Losses great, to any of flesh and blood.
Through Faith, and labor, rebuilding through strife,
With the hope of a time, of peace, and calm,
Until the day, Jesus, comes for His Church/Wife,
No more, Tribulation healing in His Loving Balm.
So, if temperatures soar in weather reports,
Or the clouds release way-too-much rain,
Remember, our blessings, and mortal comforts,
Protection, in, and until, Bridegroom refrain:
"COME UP HITHER!!"
AMEN
