SAFE HARBOR
SAFE HARBOR
By Arley Steinhour 031913
When I was but a young lad,
I had accidents, that hurt so bad,
Stepped on many nails, I did,
Before I realized, in wood they hid.
My life spent, finding life's hidden nails,
In the life-woods, on nail filled trails,
Searching the timber for nails and more,
Building Arc of Life, to obtain distant Shore.
On my way through this mortality,
In my clumsy built arc, on which I be,
Trying to finish Safe Harbor trek Home,
I was rescued by Jesus, from stormy foam.
My Sin-filled Arc had many rusty-nail leaks,
To fix, myself, would need eternity of weeks,
Jesus saved my life, with his spoken word,
"Come Aboard, be mine,'' was all I heard.
He moves all perfection, into light of day,
Wraps up, Sun and Earth, to throw away,
Places your Light, within Cube, Eternal,
Joins all His Elect, to live Supernal.
No more pain, and no more sorrows,
Eternal day has no tomorrows,
Work or play, we have the Perfect Day,
God's Eternity, and No Sin to Flay.
AMEN
