  • How true! Thank you for sharing that Arley!

  • Anyone is certainly free to believe what they want about end times.

However, what I find particularly frightening is when politicians believe this stuff. Seems there would be no consequence to pushing the first domino to get the ball rolling on the times of Tribulation. Only God's glory to be had, right?

But at what price? Who's blood will be shed? It won't be your own so who cares right? Henceforth to war for Christ will return!

"It's God's plan so I must do what I can to hasten his return."

Sounds similar to the rational terrorists and suicide bombers use to justify their own actions.

  • I am truly sorry you do not see Truth in what I said here, CSB. God has watched mankind war with 'self' for over Six Thousand years, and we have only been able to improve the methods of destroying ourselves.

Since God knew what we would do, He placed a limit on us, which, IMO, we have just about used up. When that happens, we force God to come 'Clean House,' so to speak, and we have no way to stop His cleansing, other than be Saved, from where the Unsaved is cast aside. We who accept His Sacrificial Payment, of our Sin-debt at the 'Cross,' will be rewarded with 'Eternity, in God's Presence;' a far better eternity, than the 'other,' of Eternal Torment (designed for the Fallen Angels), not designed nor intended for 'fallen man.'

Believe as you will, Judge as you will, you only affect your own future, not mine, nor any other. Ponder, please. Your Eternity 'does' depend on your Choice.

  • "A celibate clergy is an especially good idea, because it tends to suppress any hereditary propensity toward fanaticism." Carl Sagan

  • You can't fool me on that one, Benevolus, since Carl Sagan was never Pope. (^8

Carl, if right, no longer exists. But, Carl, if wrong, knows just how wrong, huh?? You tell me, I only have my Faith, and Hope, that I be right, ... and so on. I'll know fairly soon, perhaps.

  • All true statements, Navy...but I hope you are wrong about the "soon" in your last one.

  • Thanks, Benevolus. I can only base my 'soon' on my studies in Prophecy, and the studies, and teaching of others, and we most all believe 'soon' might be too long a word, since there is no Prophecy left undone, that need be completed, prior to the start of Tribulation's Seven year Pain and Suffering experience. Will it be tomorrow?? Could be, ten or fifteen years down the road, Could be. I do know that the 'Signs and Seasons, events, that happen in the sky, have three very informative years coming that may well fulfill much of what needs happen along-side the horrors on earth, and they are 2014, 15, and 16. The eclipse events seem to want to happen on the main Feast day, throughout all three years (2016 has a couple a day away from the Hebrew date, but remembering that the present Hebrew Calendar is mathematically formatted, and sometimes fails to be on the same day as the New Moon is sighted, to start each month, we won't know absolutely, until the day of the events of eclipse, and by then, who knows what earthly event is in progress?

I can say, IMO, we are in 'Very Interesting Times.' That's why I tend to say: 'Keep the Watch,' so much; there is much to happen, and I feel soon covers most if not all of those interesting times. The first Six Thousand years have played out, (plus/minus errors on our part), Christians could be Snatched away any day, BHO, or some other 'silver tongued devil' could take over the role of World leader, ... and, well, you don't want to know, but it is in the Bible writings.

If we ever short of wind, just get me to talking, I should be good for a ten MPH breeze. Ha.
