Towing the Faith Line

God came to earth, so we'd have a chance,
Through His Death's Resurrection, to be a branch,
Producing good fruit, sweet as He desires,
Or choose to reject, and know heat of Hell's fires.
Towing the Faith Line

What leadership don't realize,
They're there by the Hand of God,
You do not need to Spiritualize,
'Doing Wrong,' they bear the 'Rod.'

He knows exactly when to 'Pull the plug,'
Or, by the neck, 'Cork their Jug,'
They need consider the hearts they're breaking,
Before and during the "Oath" they're taking.

If, 'We the People,' stand up, and shout,
'Do Right, or We will vote you ""OUT,"" '
Then, perhaps, they'll fall upon their knees,
Follow directions, so God, they Please.

We the People, need be there first,
Upon our knees, for His Truth greatly Thirst,
Then our Leaders will have no excuse,
For what they do, just call it ""Abuse.""

When they see our knee, bent at Alter,
Leadership, can do nothing, but 'Falter,'
We follow, they follow, the Holy "WORD,"
In Mortal speak, 'JESUS' is Heard.

Lay Sin aside, open arms wide,
For Jesus' Hug, where we can hide,
Before He comes, to Vent His Wrath,
The kind of Torment, not cleaned with a 'bath.'

AMEN

Arley, If you want to live in a country that is ruled by religion, be my guest, move to Iran and let me know how that works out.

The framers were pretty intentional in their language.

"The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States."

CSB, Shalom, and Thank you.

In a word, Yes, I do wish to live in a country/world Ruled by 'God' (not a religion, (big difference)), and some people, alive today, IMO, will do just that. Who knows, I, too, may.

I agree with what you say, especially when 'man' plays a part in the type 'religion' that might be in charge of mankind. I fear you either added meaning to my words, or I failed to express my feelings properly, and since the burden of clarity is on the speaker/writer, I presume I did err. I don't know where, but....

The Constitution's wording, and focus is, according to many experts, 'Inspired by God, and founded upon the Bible.' At least that is the suggestion, in letters, articles, and so many carvings, in stone no less, of Biblical scenes, especially in Congressional, and Supreme Court buildings, walls, doors, and floors.

You give an excellent example of why people of religion cannot rule over countries, no matter how pious they may be, eventually corruption sets in. That said, I was addressing government of and by God, where no corruption can set in; which is not that far into the future, as my studies indicate to me, and many others.

In my opinion (IMO), our Constitution is 'God-Inspired,' so He already has a hand in our country. That is why so many citizens still resist the changing of the system to a Socialistic dominated, Dictatorship (remember the corruption statement).

Again, thanks, and please excuse my long winded blathering. I truly do Love our/my country, and will, so long as there is breath in my lungs, defend the Constitution, from without, and within. I managed to never go off 'half-cocked' in war, so I think I just may use peaceful methods of waking up the people by doing what I do the most of, today, talking/typing. If people are thinking, talking, and researching, we have a chance of surviving these times. If not, well, Jesus is coming soon, to many peoples surprise. When He does come, be advised,,, IMO, there will only be about one in seven (alive today), alive to see His return, most of the deaths in that time, premature. Most experts say at least half dies, but I think they are being a tad conservative. end of rant.

Well spoken Arley. Only a remnant will be saved. Wide is the road that leads to destruction and many are on it, narrow is the way that leads to Eternal life and there be few that find it. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Thank you for speaking the Truth in love to us! Thank you for caring that all may hear the message of the Gospel. You are faithful in proclaiming the Word of God to all of us! Thanks!!

I agree with CSB, we should all thank France (not God) for the separation of church and state. This idea is one of the best humans have ever had, and in part explains why western societies are often more prosperous and enjoy more liberty than theocratic nations.
