Darkness yields to Dawning Light,
Quickly looses the Morning-Fight,
Redemption comes, Through-the-Son,
The Light, the Way, the Only-One.
Good Morning God 012013
By Arley Steinhour
Moans and groans, ring like thunder,
As I struggle to wake up, and rise,
Joints snap and creak, like lumber,
I'm straining hard to open eyes.
Morning wake-up is so much fun,
As I'm resurrecting back to life,
Before I see any ray of Sun,
You've blessed my pain and strife.
Oh, my body still brings tear to eye,
Resisting my age-ed mortality,
But since 'Corruption' cannot fly,
Graduation should be pain-free.
As I start my wake-up fight,
The Sun yet to show its rays,
I thank you for a well slept night,
Before I start my mortal days.
I need your strength and blessing,
On every thought, word, and deed,
It seems, I'm constantly confessing,
For all the Sin, those three things feed.
I marvel how my mind you teach,
Making Sunshine brighter, as I pray,
Making Heaven closer to my reach,
As you share new truths, day by day.
May this day with you be filled,
With, your Will done on Earth,
May more Family be instilled,
With, Holy Spirit on Rebirth.
