Night and Day

Posted Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at 9:51 PM

I'd love to pray, as well as you,
With intensity, and Love,
To Praise, and honor you, so true,
Like you do us, from above.
Night and Day
By Arley Steinhour

Father God,
It's time for me to take my walk,
And put myself to bed,
All night I'll hear my Bible talk,
With its Audio in my head.

The house is cool, I'll snuggle down,
Beneath the Flannel comforter,
Rigged to sleep, look like a clown,
All things perfect, stops sleep time torture.

Laptop plays well on battery,
The hours, three point five,
Plug it in, for another three,
Bible feeds Prophetic drive.

I've played your word, so many times,
I should know it all by heart,
I know it helps me with my rhymes,
And conversations, sometimes start.

Then, when I'm awake, in study mode,
With you, I can better share,
From my heart scripture takes a load,
And deposits the dross, somewhere.

I want so much to please you,
To know your every mood,
Like slow cooked chunky stew,
Your word is Spirit Food.

When I wake up, it's to your word,
Speaking, softly in my ear,
I turn it off, so my praise is heard,
Starts my day with Godly cheer.

My daylight hours, spent with you,
Studying how Prophecy does fit,
In news of day, I'll find a clue,
And I blog the best of it.

I know I'm blessed by You, above,
You fill my every need,
As I seek souls, to witness your Love,
So their hearts, you too can feed.

I'm happy your read my praise poetry. But, then, I also study Prophecy, trying to understand the 'Times,' we are in. Jesus said it best, of course:

Mat 16:3 And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?

I do believe Jesus is telling us we should watch for His signs, in the heavens and on earth, for really special events. His soon Return, qualifies.

12/21/12 is a nifty visual date, and there are a number of events, we know of, that will transpire on that day. Who knows, some of them may well associate, to some extent, with Biblical Prophecy. If they do, then yep, I'll be watching, praying, and, who knows, might even see you on the 'Rapture Run,' when Jesus comes, to Snatch His Bride, if you are 'Right with Him, when he comes.'

Pray you are, as the following Seven years, no one wants to experience, if they know what is coming.

That is how I see His Word, telling us to be ready, and one can't be 'ready' if they are asleep, Spiritually, that is. Thanks again for your comment.

I am an avid reader of your poetic praise, but the constant doomsday stuff is a little overblown in my opinion.

Let me guess, you are waiting with bated breath for Dec 21, 2012?

Thank you for your comment, Benevolus. Your words may be correct, in your eyes, but then, I guess it is 'the eye of the beholder' that determines the Truth of God's word, or the words of another; that is, until we reach Judgment, where, then, our determination, suddenly coincides with that of God.

We, then will know just how right or wrong we be. Me, I would be in great trouble, if not for the Salvation, given as a free gift, by the crucifixion, death, and resurrection of my Lord and Savior, Jesus.

In Eternal time, we'll soon know.

PS, I offer Poetic Praise here, I'm not building a Space Ship, or beating plow-shares into swords.

"Studying how Prophecy does fit,

In news of day, I'll find a clue"

If one tries hard enough, and bends their logic just so, one can find clues for about anything, anywhere they look. Most call this delusion thinking though (see for example: meteors hitting Jupiter signaling the end of the world).
