Hot Weather Warm HeartPosted Tuesday, August 21, 2012, at 3:53 PM
Last stock standing on the barren ground,
In the distance still stands green trees, Creek runs there, here bare around, Crumpled plants bent to their knees. Next year's food, so little found, Tragic loss of birds, fish, and bees, Third horse soon will pound the ground, Foreground 'workmen,' tree line 'Rich-folk,' if you please. By Arley Steinhour 082112
The Summer heat seems ended,
Temperatures, beyond alarm,
The days are getting shorter now,
Threats of war, are running rampant,
Brother hating brother,
You said these things would happen,
Close, the time of your retrieval,
Calling to the unsaved, like rolling of the dice,
When you are ready, come take us Home, AMEN Comments Showing most recent comments first [Show in chronological order instead] |
