Morning Mirror Blues Buster

Optimist or Pessimist, is in the eye of beholder.
Morning Mirror Blues Buster
By Arley Steinhour 010812

Some shaggy, hair,
Most ain't there,
Teeth, pearly white,
Have lost that fight.

Looking back at me
Eyes that barely see,
Skin loose as swamp-tree,
I'm describing me.

I think I'm getting older
I think it's getting late
I know someone in Heaven
Soon, we have a date;

Arms spread wide
No more to roam
No need to hide
I'm welcomed home.

Forever heaven, Eternity,
I pray I'm pleasing him,
That's where I'll be,
Young, slim, and trim.

Turned my heart to Jesus,
From where I once had been,
He's in control, I do my part,
As He cleans away my Sin.

My part easy, ask,
His part, full of pain,
In Him, I bask,
His Love cleansing rain.

Join His Family,
Be like I be,
Ask willingly,
In Him, be Free.
