Oh, what a beautiful morning,
Oh, what a snowy white day,
I have a sneaky old feeling,
Spring is at least four months away.
You sent us snowflakes this morning,
To make everything look so bright,
The weatherman gave us a warning,
It may snow throughout the night.
The Snowflake's unique, wondrous structure,
Gives it the one of a kind shape, only you make,
Professors could spend days in lecture,
On how you shape mortal life like the flake.
You allow the good, bad, and frustrating,
Life pressure to strengthen the heart,
To help make us the person you're wanting,
Like the snowflake, an unique, loving, part.
Unlike the snowflake, we don't melt in a day,
The shape we take on, hard to change,
When we come to faith and not play,
You give snowflake sparkle in exchange.
For the snowflakes today, I do thank you,
For your guidance and love, in your debt,
Unto graduation, the days may be few,
I believe, the Last Week, you have set.
The time is now soon, snowflakes go away,
Never again, to float soft on the wind,
With Satan put away, your Kingdom holds sway,
All hearts focused on you, God and Friend.
