Old Folk

Someone, long ago, said something to the effect that God made a mistake, wasting youth on the young. I now agree. For those who remember Mork from Ork, they were born old and died young. But, God don't make mistakes, but we sure do.

Treat Old folk with care

In a few short years

You too will be there

Look to the Old Folks

Rigored with wrinkle

Longing for Love-rain

So, give them a sprinkle

Care for the old folk

For them be Oak branch

They birthed and raised you

So you'd have a chance.
