First Birth QuandaryPosted Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at 4:19 PM
Even at the edge of highest cliff, He'll never let you down,
You'll have the confidence of Job, and even forget how to frown. So cinch up your saddle, and with Jesus faithful ride, Eternally He'll bless you, and from God you'll never have to hide. AMEN
By Arley Steinhour 053111 Every body must be born Into life as a mortal being Naked as a lamb full shorn With eyes not quite yet seeing. Moments after breathing air The mind is filled with life Offers up a trumpet blare Used in protest most of life. On occasion Doctors query 'How long can this child last' Years all filled with memory Or will it even have a Past. Longevity does vary With each that's given life Unknown, for most it's scary This world so filled with strife. Each day of life fulfilling Each night a dream-land flight A life of memories thrilling Or starvation, enduring Blight. Every person has a life-road Some short, long, or twisting Be it Prince or bearing heavy load Sadness filled or brightly lifting. Little signs along the way Three words, 'Are you Ready' Price is Free, nothing to pay You'll be strong and steady. 'Of course,' you say one day Life changes week by week Strengthening, and better Faith in Jesus be to what I speak He don't promise mortal happiness Nor health and riches in your life Only that you'll be with Him Eternally, His Cherished Wife. He promises, in metaphor We be a part of Him With Eternal blessings Never more to Sin. The little games that we can't play Comes mostly from Satan's spawn Eternal Blessing in the Longest Day Beats Hell-bent, Satan-Drawn. Hey Billy!
Remember me? Mary Kay Styskal. Just wanted to say HI! Injoyed your thoughts although I don't remember you being so serious!
Weren't we the lucky ones to grow up in McCook in the golden '50's? I remember almost everyone and keep up with a lot of them.
All the best, Mary Kay
