PLACE TAKEN

It is sad to say, that they only way, I could find a photo of a praying group, is to use one from a False Religion, a low to which I had to stoop. It is not where you park your car, but where your heart resides. Why are so many Pews empty??
Place Taken 022811

This just crossed my 'in-box' file, with message, oh so true,

By the time I'd read it, I knew it was sent not just to me, but to me and you.

Look at the cars, and congregations, maybe even yours,

Then ask yourself if heart is right, or have we changed HIS scores.

Hey you, You Took My Place!!

One day, a man went to visit a church. He got there early, parked his car, and got out. Another car pulled up near and the driver got out and said,

"I always park there!

You took my place!"

The visitor went inside for Sunday School, found an empty seat and sat down. A young lady from the church approached him and stated,

"That's my seat!

You took my place!"

The visitor was somewhat distressed by this rude welcome, but said nothing.

After Sunday School, the visitor went into the sanctuary and sat down. Another member walked up to him and said,

"That's where I always sit!

You took my place!"

The visitor was even more troubled by this rude treatment, but still He said nothing.

Later as the congregation was praying for Christ to dwell among them, the visitor stood up, walked forward, as his appearance began to change.

Horrible scars became visible on his back, hands, and on his sandaled feet.

Someone from the congregation noticed him and called out, "What happened to you?"

The visitor replied, as his hat became a crown of thorns, and a bloody tear fell from his eye,

"I took your place."

When you read this, please say a prayer, thanking Jesus for 'Taking our place.'

That's all we have to do. There is nothing attached. the end

IMO: Should we all do this, every day, and live the day as if we might be able to repay, even a small portion, of what He did for us, we would develop the same, or greater 'Force of Faith' so many False Religions survive on. Ponder, please. AMEN
