The Kingdom be Near

Posted Saturday, February 19, 2011, at 3:48 PM

The time of waiting over, The bridegroom seeks His Wife, that we enjoy being His family, for all our Reborn Life.
I love to poeticize my praises,

to our wonderful God on high,

but sometimes 'find' the phrazes,

that fill the heart and eye:

The Kingdom be Near

Author Unknown

Watchman: Tell us of the night--

What the signs of promise are.

Traveler: O'er yon mountain's height--

See that glory-beaming star?

Watchman: Does its beauteous ray--

Ought of hope or joy foretell?

Traveler: Yes, it brings the day--

Promised day of Israel.

Watchman: Tell us of the night--

Higher yet that star ascends.

Traveler: Blessedness and light--

Peace and truth its course portends.

Watchman: Will its beams alone--

Gild the spot that gave them birth?

Traveler: Ages are its own--

See, its glory fills the earth.

Watchman: Tell us, does the morning;

Of fair Zion's glory dawn?

Have the signs that mark its coming

Yet upon thy pathway shown?

Traveler: Yes: arise; Look round thee,

Light is breaking in the skies!

Gird thy Bridal Robes around thee!

Morning dawns! Arise! Arise!
