The Kingdom be NearPosted Saturday, February 19, 2011, at 3:48 PM
The time of waiting over, The bridegroom seeks His Wife,
that we enjoy being His family, for all our Reborn Life.
to our wonderful God on high, but sometimes 'find' the phrazes, that fill the heart and eye: The Kingdom be Near Author Unknown Watchman: Tell us of the night-- What the signs of promise are. Traveler: O'er yon mountain's height-- See that glory-beaming star? Watchman: Does its beauteous ray-- Ought of hope or joy foretell? Traveler: Yes, it brings the day-- Promised day of Israel. Watchman: Tell us of the night-- Higher yet that star ascends. Traveler: Blessedness and light-- Peace and truth its course portends. Watchman: Will its beams alone-- Gild the spot that gave them birth? Traveler: Ages are its own-- See, its glory fills the earth. Watchman: Tell us, does the morning; Of fair Zion's glory dawn? Have the signs that mark its coming Yet upon thy pathway shown? Traveler: Yes: arise; Look round thee, Light is breaking in the skies! Gird thy Bridal Robes around thee! Morning dawns! Arise! Arise!
