A Part of You
A Part of You
By Arley Steinhour 013111 (mod 013117)
Dear Father God,
PC Praising poetry, I do sitting down, my words typed, must rhyme,
At times words come messy, very hard; at times they flow just fine.
You already know I love you, so free flowing is how words should flow,
With attention to grammar and spelling, share what my heart does know.
Sun brightly shining, dawning; a fine day for me you have made,
Clouds hide your bright smile, with snow in the air that, into, I wade.
On the web, people chatter, about feeling the cold, crying, how deep the snow,
I do the same, humorously as I listen, some comments you don't want to know.
On most of the web's I frequent, the folks enjoy what you provide,
Christian webs mostly, language softer, Love for you, they do not hide.
Jesus, Emmanuel, God With Us, In You the Church, (some say Bride),
With faces beaming, haters screaming, our love for You, we can't hide.
The whole group of us, fill our role with joy, as a Royal part in you,
Eternally fitting into some part of you, even if it's the part in your shoe.
I got off track just a little, as I chatter like a squirrel in a tree,
I just wanted to say that I truly love You, knowing you Truly Love me.
AMEN
