Seeing You Lord
Seeing You Lord
By Arley Steinhour 122110
Father, God,
I see you in the morning when the frost is on the trees
I see you in the evening when I am down upon my knees
I see you in the daytime, when working hard at my PC,
Each moment, when I close my eyes, it's you I always see.
Dear God, I love you, I love you oh so much,
I wish more folk would turn to you, we'd have a family clutch.
Alas, alas, they turn away and say,
'I'll come back for that another day,
When the time is right just before the fall.'
Oh God, dear God, they don't know You, at all.
Salvation through Faith so soon closes,
And that will twist a lot of expectant noses.
So many think they know what you're all about,
Thinking they're 'In,' will find, They're not, and 'Out.'
I know you're there, for them today,
But soon, so soon, you turn away.
AMEN
