By Arley Steinhour 121910 Praise be to God, this day He made, the one we call Lord's Day, Up and moving, early before the Sun, so I could praise Him my way. Words with Jesus upon consciousness, my daily resurrection, Allowed me time to be alone with Him, and set up my direction. Today is always easy, as I will spend half the day, in Church, and prayer, Especially this Lord's Day. Day, when Christmas Caroling filled the air. The schedule for the Service, went awry right from the start, With many needs to pray for folk, sure did rend the heart. We prayed for those with illness, broken bones, and such, Prayed for folk, in uniform, and for leaders, by the bunch. Once finished praying, Carols of Angels we began to sing, Praising Jesus for His birth, Emmanuel, with love and caroling. By now our hearts were Spirit filled to top, with major overflowing, When Preacher Al, began to speak, as Heaven-bent Praise our sewing. He only taught for half an hour, we had some business to do, The second half we used up, presenting him a laptop, oh so Blue. He didn't see that coming, and I think it made his preaching day, A Christmas gift to a Shepherd of God, can't close no better way. Now you know the story about Twelve-Nineteen, Two Thousand Ten, And, if you didn't go to Church, you goofed, and really should have been. If you have a Church Group home, you really should attend, Our Christianity needs recover strength, and you can help it mend.
