Snowed-in, in Scotland, 2010; received from a sister, in Jesus, early this month. She and hers wish us all a Very Merry Christmas.(Not the picture, but beautiful)
Being unable to show you the inspiration for the poem, please picture the quaint town scene, with snow falling, and the oval topped sign over the 1920's main street, that says "Merry Christmas," with a bow tied on the sign (most everyone has seen it, somewhere, as it is a classic, IMO.
The following was my response, below, to receiving the scene, noted above, and I desire to share the Love of Jesus, with one and all; and that means you, and you, and you, too.
Sparkling Snow from Jesus
by Arley Steinhour 121310
The snow you see ain't frosty, but sparkles with the true warmth of my love
this is the overflow, from that which Jesus pours on me, from high above.
You do not have to scoop it up, this snow loads with Joyful wagging,
and you can take it home with you as gift from me, not bragging.
The object of the season, is at the other end of the street,
the reason be the voyage there, this life He gave is truly neat.
We suffer tribulation, as we experience mortality,
so a better son or daughter, to Him, we may Eternal be.
I can't describe your trip down the street, for each it surly differs,
unto the 'snowy' reason that it sparkles, with no chilly shivers.
Let me justify the spot, it is neither Cold nor Hot,
It is where Jesus Christ was born, to truly save our lot.
Our lot be all the sinning, we do throughout our life,
when you kneel, and ask him, no sin be in His 'Wife.'
Forever more, eternally, we're clean enough to be,
a member of the Body, and live as God's Royal family.
So, if you haven't done it, and need a true sin scrub,
Turn your heart to Jesus, let Him bless you, without a tub.
There you have the key to Jesus, if you didn't already have, Goy,
Let Him bless away your sin, and adopt you to eternal Joy.
Share His Love, even more, with potential brothers and sisters.
In Messiah, Jesus' name, and Love, Merry Christmas, and Happy Celebration of His Birthday.
