Very Special

We never have no-one to talk to.

It takes a very special eye, to see all that's going wrong,

It takes a very special voice, to sing a perfect song.

It takes a very special back, for projects needing done,

It takes a very special God, to be the 'I AM,' One.

It takes a very special brain, to invent something out of slime,

It takes a very special car, to race and win, each time,

It takes a very special plane, to fly high in the sky,

It takes a very special God, that for our sins, He'd die.

It takes a very special woman, to raise another family's child,

It takes a very special cowboy, to tame a horse born wild.

It takes a very special mule, to up-root stump of tree,

It takes a very special God, to Bless a Country yearning to be free.

It takes a very special child, to comprehend what they will be,

It takes a very special soldier, to Serve so we be free.

It takes a very special man, to climb and 'top' a Redwood tree,

It takes a very special God, a country bless, from sea to shining sea.

It takes a very special Love, to make sacrifice, time after time,

It takes a very special dog, to love it's master, so sublime.

It takes a very special rhyme, to close a poem like this-one,

It takes a very special God, to allow this close, while I'm still having fun.

A poem like this, like good friends, the possibilities never end,

So add a line in your own book, another entry, lovingly penned.
