Everyone needs a HUG, Especially from HIM.
To do a Blog in Poetry, as if I had something to say. I'm here to tell you, I will try, to keep from creatively getting thin. So, looks like for a little while, I'll write, what comes from deep within. I try to rhyme on anything that crosses ore my mind, Mostly thoughts on Jesus, and words of Prayerful kind. I like to tell a story, where all words seem to fit, Sort of like the cowboy poets, though I once rode a ship. I can't forget the language, a shade or two not gray, So, should I slip, the Editor will garnishee my pay. Of course they'll have to wait a while, to collect a cent, Unless, of course, the Boss decides, money pays the rent. I tacked a short poetic wish, on-to Dick Trail's Blog, But since I now have your ear, I'll root for dollars like a hog. You folks should all be ready for the pinch to shed a buck, And if you though me different, then you're really out of luck. For this old War horse, not a cent, Ann spends the bucks most frugal, It's for the Troops way overseas, who need something more than Google So here is what I sent to Ann, and it tells you where I am, I sometimes get serious, and do not act quite like a Ham: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Christmas Journey by Arley Steinhour 110810 (Comment I added to Dick Trail Opinion 110810) May Ann's Project Christmas, make it's way to that Afghanistani land, so troops protecting you and me, will have Christmas box in hand. Freedom lived, secured by Troops, Can't fully be repaid, especially those who pay the price, and in the ground are laid. So reach into your pocketbook and give a buck or two, that troops, off in that distant land, know someone cares; That's YOU. AMEN and Yeee-Haaa!!!
