were 14 juniors, 2 sophomores, and 1 freshman.

*Elkhorn South's Moses Bryant is only the 2nd freshman in 11-man football

history to rush for over a thousand yards in a single season.

*7 schools had two 1000 yard rushers. They were; Malcolm, McCook,

Anselmo-Merna, Falls City Sacred Heart, Heartland, Kenesaw, and Paxton.

*A record nine backs eclipsed the 2,000 yard rushing mark this season.

*5 runners reached the 5,000 yard career rushing mark this year....the most

in single season.
