*First of a 3 part series*

To celebrate the upcoming Nebraska High School Football season, I have decided to list every school in Nebraska and what running back holds their school's single season rushing record. Some of these schools have closed or have merged since, but I feel it is important to high school football in this state to forever record these athlete's names in the annuls of history. Often times just because these schools no longer exist, the names that shaped that their very history are forgotten. We must never forget these running backs that carved their name in these record books.

I only wish I had the names of the lineman that forged the way for these guys to get these records. Unfortunately, these warriors never receive the credit they so richly deserve.
