Acid TripPosted Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at 3:29 PM
Ah, I must be nice. Nice to those who pedal big government like a drug dealer peddles his evils. Promise after promise made by the dealer, if you'll only give in, and take the big government drug.
And like a junkie, it'll cost you something personal for your addiction. Didn't you know that? The woman who sells her body for drugs, or the man that steals or kills for drugs, they lost something personal. They lost their self respect, their future and their dream.
The big government junkie sells his freedom, his thoughts, and perhaps even his soul.
"Just take my big government drug," the government dealer says with a smile, "I'll take care of you."
And you soon realize that your buddy, your dealer government man, is the only way you can buy a house, or get a loan, or go to college. He owns you now. What has happened to you? What are you going to do to free yourself from this addiction?
Oh wow! The government dealer man is even talking to your kids. He is telling them things about how wonderful the big government drug is! Now what? Well, no time to worry about that now, you gotta hurry and fill out those college aid forms from the government dealer.
Addiction sucks huh? Want to break free? Careful, your government dealer man is deciding if you have a job, or any fuel for your car. Better stock up on blankets to keep warm at night during the winter, because your government dealer man is deciding how much heat will cost next winter.
You may need one of the government dealer man's programs to help you pay for that fuel. That's right, take your drug. He'll take care of you. You can not make it without your government dealer man.
You'll love learning to ride a bike to work, or getting permission from your government dealer man to take a vacation. Take your drug. Go to government for your answers. Get the government dealer man to hear your pleas. He is the only one who cares.
When you get older and get sick, you can trust the government dealer man to come through with that operation. You'll never be told it's too expensive or that your told old.
Our government dealer man is better than that! Although, some of us may be chosen to participate in 'voluntary dismissal'. No big deal. You'll love it! You'll get to spend time with that God guy you are always talkin' about.
