Work In ProgressPosted Sunday, March 7, 2010, at 10:49 AM
The mathematical probability alone suggest life must be out there, and we search for the slightest evidence, any single thread which could point us to life.
Yet, science, politicians and liberals struggle so when confronted by the litany of evidence of life inside the womb of a mother.
Listen to this:
"...Several years ago, a fragile young woman came to my (a doctor's) office, expecting her first baby. One month before she was due, the baby was in a breech position. The death rate of breech babies is high because of the difficulty in delivering the after-coming head and the imperative need of delivering it quickly after the body is born.
During the delivery, I waited as patiently as I could for the natural forces of expulsion to thoroughly dilate the firm maternal structures. At last the time had come, and I gently drew down one little foot. I grasped the other, but it would not come beside the first one. To my consternation, I saw the other little foot would never be beside the first one. The entire thigh from the hip to the knee was missing.
I knew what a dreadful effect this would have upon the unstable nervous system of the mother. I saw this little girl sitting sadly by herself, while the other girls danced and ran and played.
I could slow my hand; I could delay those few short moments. No one, in this world, would ever know. The mother, after the first shock of grief, would be glad she had lost a child so handicapped.
The little pink foot on the good side bobbed out from its protecting towel and pressed firmly against my slowly moving hand...I couldn't do it. I delivered the baby with her pitiful little leg...as years went on, I blamed myself bitterly for not having the strength to yield to my temptation.
Our hospital stages a Christmas party each year for the staff. This past year, three lovely young musicians on the stage played softly in unison with the organ. I was especially fascinated by the young harpist. She played extraordinarily well, as if she loved it.
When the short program was over, there came down the aisle a woman I thought I knew. "Oh, you saw her," she cried. "You must have recognized her". The harpist was the little girl born with only one good leg 17 years ago. I took the child in my arms, (now with artificial limb). Across her warm shoulder I saw the creeping clock of the delivery room 17 years before. I lived again those awful moments when her life was in my hand. I had found comfort I had waited for so long."

The government is suppose to protect these rights: Life, Liberty and the Persuit of Happiness.
Instead our government tramples and infringes on these rights from God, in order to give us all sorts of other rights. The right to food, the right to a doctor, the right to abortion, the right to tax, the right to be told to go on and die, as your life is now inconvenient to the State.
This is a well known story, but worth repeating. So many of you liberals didn't get it the first time you heard it. A certain ethics class had before them this situation. "A man has syphilis and his wife tuberculosis. They have four children. One has died, the other three have illnesses. The mother is pregnant again. What do you recommend?" The class voted to terminate the pregnancy. They had just voted to abort Beethoven. (HIS magazine, February 1984)
The woman whose picture graces this blog is Ethel Waters. Not just a great gospel singer, but one of the best who ever sang for God. Ethel Waters was born to a 13 year old child who had been raped. God can and will take something ugly and make something beautiful from it, if we will let Him.
Today, we face a runaway government poised to impose its will upon us all in the form of health care. Our government wants to be god. Our government may even think it is god.
Back when Roe v. Wade was handed down to be a plague to this nation, many of us warned of the costs of abortion, the tens of millions that would die, babies being killed for birth control. We were told we were fear mongering and exaggerating. Fifty million are dead.
We warned that if a State would allow the death of so many innocents, that other calamities would follow. Now, our bloated liberal infested government has decided that we can not only kill the unborn, we can surely rob them as well. If you can kill 'em, makes sense that you'll rob 'em too.
Now, the greed and death of liberalism will grow under the health care takeover. Seniors will be the next to experience the wonders of liberalism. They will be rationed to death.
The liberals will come on here and claim that I lie, their agenda/religion is one that demands they swear to the lies of their leaders. And they will.
I also expect that the so-called moderate Democrats will cave in, just as Ben Nelson did, and Obama care will succeed in putting yet another dagger in the heart of liberty.
Whether or not the United States survives as a free Republic or further spirals down to the depths of more death and Socialism will be directly linked to our respect for life.
The liberals mock God, and yet they want to play God. Then they sing the same old song. They'll all claim to be against abortion personally. Yet the people they support, the folks they follow, the politicians they put into power, do everything in their power to keep sending three thousand babies to their deaths everyday.
But they want us to trust them when it comes to the operation we may need. Sure, I trust them, don't' you?
One more thing, some time ago, I commented on all the Doctors and great talented men and women have been lost to abortion. Perhaps the secrets to cold fusion, to clean energy, the cure for cancer, could have been sucked into the abortionists sink, and thrown out with the garbage. Guillermo, (regular liberal heckler) answered me by saying that rapists and murderers were killed as well.
Do we want to be so brash as to spit in the face of God? How do we ask God's blessings on this country, when we have so little respect for the things of God? God Bless America? Why?
To you Christians I ask this: Will God Bless this nation while the abortion holocaust continues? What will God think of the upcoming health care rationing and early deaths of seniors?
The truth is, God works with each human being, born to whatever circumstances or station in life, as a work in progress. We, in our zeal to be nicer than God, cut that progress off, and thereby handicap generations while millions more die.
We must return government to its calling. A Government that protects the God given rights of Life, Liberty and the Persuit of Happiness. Those are the fundamentals. Until those are restored, our country will struggle.
