  • Sam, your lack of understanding of this issue, on even a basic level, makes it hard to have a reasonable conversation. You have succeeded in silencing me because your entire rant is so patently false that an appropriate rebuttal cannot be given. Congrats, you have won this one by default. Hats off sir...

  • And by the way, can people lay off the Sham thing? If you hate the guy, there are plenty of other blogs to reply to. It does nothing for the understanding that we are all trying to achieve through talking with each other.

Merry Christmas to all. My new wife and I will be back in the US on Dec. 20 and back in good old McCook Dec. 20. If you are wondering why there are so many illegal immigrants, it's because its so **** hard to get a green card the honest way. We did it, and I can't wait to bring her to the place that I call home!

    recognize this sentence?

Fredd your behavior is so juvenile, perhaps you should write this on the board 100 times.

perhaps the moderators of this board should enforce their own rules, how about it gazette?

Jeff, good luck on the trip home. God's speed. I believe the global warming hoax is dangerous, I think the left will use it to spread misery around the world. Since I truly believe that my fellow man will suffer under leftist tyranny, would I not be morally obligated to speak out?

How about Al Gore, since he is the Apostle of the global warming, he is a monster (Dennis Miller's words) for living like he does not believe it. And raking in close to a billion in personal wealth along the way.

Didn't we used to call such folks, Cult Leaders?

    Thanks Jeff for your comments.

Jeff, you said my entire rant was so patently false.

Was I false when I pointed out how the 130 developing nations laughed in the face of the EU offer of 7.2 billion Euro in three years?

Was I false when I pointed out the Mayor of Copenhagen calling the religious festival, "Hopenhagen"?

Was I false in talking about African nations demanding 5% of our GDP?

Was I false when describing the larceny of the United Nations?

Was I false in describing the money grab from Western Nations?

Was I false in my descriptions of "eco-sin" and "eco-revenge"?

    I don't think so!

If you feel that you cannot win against my arguments, I must say, you had an excellent way of avoiding a beat down.

Global Warming, or Climate Change, or bad Karma, whatever you want to call it, has been shown to be a hoax of fantastic proportions. In fact, for one to believe in Climate Change, in light of the facts, you would have to exercise religious faith.

Against my better judgement Fredd, I will try and talk with you one last time.

When George Bush was walking around holding the hand of the Saudi King, I did not like it.

I thought Bush should have been much tougher on the Saudis.

I thought Bush should have persecuted the war with more vigor.

I thought Bush should have cut government instead of expanding it.

I thought Bush should have stood up to Ted Kennedy and the wacky left mush more.

I thought Bush should have had even larger tax cuts.

I thought Bush should have done more to save Social Security from Bankruptcy.

I thought Bush should have taken on the lying leftist media.

I thought Bush should have started a nuclear energy program.

I thought Bush should have worked harder to free the oil Companies from the shackles of the EPA.

I thought Bush should have done more to stop abortion.

I thought Bush should have begun the military Courts martial years ago at GITMO.

Bush was a moderate at best. The government has expanded under both Democrats and Republicans. I am sick of both parties. I refuse to support liberal thinking, and liberal policies regardless of which party it comes from. I will not ever again vote for moderate wishy washy limp wrist-ed Republicans.

Now Fredd-Carl-Guillermo, will you try and address the myriad of points I make, and have made, or are you going to continue your adolescent behavior? If you are not going to grow up, I won't dialogue with you further.

  • Bravo, Sam! right on point and to the point. This is some of your best writing, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

It is sad to think that so many people have bought into the "green lie". I would say that most liberals, and many moderates have, The Bushes included.

Extreme right wing to me is one who stays true to the God of the Bible. Most politicians would rather compromise to "get along".

I believe you are like me, Sam, in that you only want to expose many of the ills of govts. and people in power that impose policies that hurt us and future generations. Pure and Simple.

Let's not make this a personality debate. We're all humans, we have flaws. Peace on Earth, goodwill toward men. Merry Christmas!

  • Hey Folks,

Go back almost 100 years, when Hoobert Heever was making his considerable fortune building railroads for the Soviet Union in their early years.

-- Seventy four years to when Ike fired George Patton for being truthful about the reality of the Soviets, while Patton was military governor of Bavaria and still commanded the Third Army.

Then stop to check diplomatic protocol --

When on the other guys' turf, American presidents always observe the courteseys common to that country.

In the case of President Obama bowing to Japan's ceremonial Emperor, his show of respect for Asian customs was far more a message to our bankers in China than to Japan.

Thanks to DUBYAH and the DRAFT DODGERS, we owe the Chinese government BILLIONS, which DubYah borrowed from them.

Now President Obama must balance that very real debt with the need to push for human rights, increasing the comparable exchange rate for the Chinese currency to reflect reality, rather than giving them a huge trade advantage, and open their markets to all our products to achieve a fair balance of trade.

Bad enough that the media lie, smear and act as a propaganda arm for the left, but they betray us again with their slavish work for the climate change hoax.

I can only assume, that the extreme media thinks they will end up as partners in the oligarchy.

NBC/GE stands to rake in billions from the Democrats, especially under the cap and trade chains Obama has in mind for the folks.

Fredd I have question for you,

Do you consider Obama to be a Left Wing Extremist President?

I'll try to answer your question about the Saudi's from a logical perspective, for the record I try to be independent thinking fiscal conservative social liberal, want people to mostly either get along or at least leave others alone type of person. I can try to explain arguments I don't necessarily agree with and understand why people may have different opinions than me. And that's ok.

The issue with the bowing to the Saudi King as opposed to holding his hand or kissing him is a difference in percieved stature. Hand holding and kissing can be seen as a gesture between friends who are equals. Bowing is a sign of subservience not respect.

There I tried to answer your question if I interpreted your ranting appropriately. I'm not saying I agree with it, personally I feel the whole issue is a bunch of crap designed to split people further and get them fighting over nothing. It appears to have worked remarkably well in that respect. Hope it helps.

  • Was I false when I pointed out how the 130 developing nations laughed in the face of the EU offer of 7.2 billion Euros in three years?

The GDP of the Euro zone is 12,167,820,000 Euros as of 2009. If you take 7.2 billion over three years that is 2.4 billion per year, or 1.97% of GDP. If that seems small, consider picking your favorite charity with a $40,000 yearly wage and giving them $78.80 as your contribution. How's that for leadership...?

Was I false when I pointed out the Mayor of Copenhagen calling the religious festival, "Hopenhagen"?

You are right. Although if you consider it a religious festival, it makes me wonder about your idea of religion...

Was I false in talking about African nations demanding 5% of our GDP?

Climatologists estimate that if nothing is done about global warming, it could cost %5 (or more) of global GDP due to its related consequences. No one was demanding %5 of our GDP. Wrong again.

Was I false when describing the larceny of the United Nations?

I'll give you a little leeway on that.

Was I false in my descriptions of "eco-sin" and "eco-revenge"?

Yes. How many rivers and lakes (not so much in Nebraska due to low industrial development) are listed as "do not swim" or "do not consume fish"? There are many in Texas, where I lived prior to going overseas. These are directly linked to polluters dating all the way back to the forties. We have learned from their, and our, mistakes. Big businesses fought environmental regulations tooth and nail, and they lost. We are all better off for it.

  • O.K. Just to get my facts straight. The governent needs to stay out of peoples lives. We have enough laws on the books already. They are intruding on our freedoms, yet you trust the government to legislate morality? Wow, thats a streach. They outlawed murder and now there are no more muders, that one worked out well. I guess if abortion was illegal no one would ever get an abortion.

That sword cuts both ways. However; I asked about the perceived liberalness of Obama in response to your aspersions towards Bush. Sam and other right wing followers here don't see Bush as right wing nor conservative. Your deriding him as conservative is pointless. Yes, you see him as conservative because he is more conservative than you, others see Obama as an extreme liberal because they are prepared to see him as such in much the same way.

You appear to have been bitten by your own hypocrisy bug. I agree that it is foolish to carry on those silly complaints but when you do it from the other side of the isle, how is it any less hypocritical?

SW Neb Transplant - I appreciate your comments. In the past, I have declared that I am "right-wing", with pride. I think right is right. Lately I think more right thinking is becoming mainstream thinking.

The left has been sucessful in the name game. They were effective when they turned respect for life into some kind of extreme position. It most certainly not a "right-wing" extreme position to believe that the daily execution of three thousand children in our country in wrong. Rather the extreme position is demonstrated by you on the left. Your position is that three thousand children should be put to death every day just because the mothers of the dead babies say so. That is an extreme position.

I do not believe that it is an extreme position to demand that our elected representatives, and the government they run, live as we must, within our means. You on the left say that government can go trillions of dollars into debt any time they want to.

You say that government must provide every single thing we need, or think we need, in our lives. That is extreme. I say everyone is responsible for their own lives, and their own families, and should act accordingly. That is mainstream, and right wing at the same time.

And I always appreciate your comments.

In your last response to my comments, did you mean your message for a more general audience or was that all in response to me? For if it is for me I find it funny that you are so quick to lay things at my feet which are hardly attributable to me. You made several references to "your" position but I don't see how you feel you can presume what my position would be. I would appreciate a response.

Jeff - by what right our authority does the Eu owe anything to Africa? By what moral authority are you willing steal money from one group of people to another?

Jeff - you are absolutely wrong on the 5% GDP African nations are demanding upon the West. All you have to do is go to the Dopenhagen website. There are at least three prominent news features on their demands.

You are wrong again when you say the effects of Global warming will take 5% GDP. You offer nothing to back that up. You cannot drink the kool aid of the eco-fascist, and call that proof.

The religious left will steal more than 5% if they can, is that what you meant?

You asked, or made reference to my idea of religion. That is a good question. I will try and answer.

Paul said: "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen."

Wouldn't you say that the eco-fascists are engaging in religious type faith by swallowing the whole gloom and doom environmentalism? God says we are to exercise "dominion" over the planet, not the other way around.

What we have behind the climate chance hoax and fraud is simple to understand. "for the LOVE of money is the root of all evil." This is a money grab, one giant mother of all money grabs, but a money grab nonetheless.

Thank you Jeff for your comments and participation.

Hope your trip home is going well.

Guillermo's last comment, gives us excellent insight into the damaged liberal mind.

My position has always been that the left hates God. They try and tell us that they don't believe in God, but we know they do, and in their arrogance, they end up hating the "loving Creator".

God does not send folks to hell, people choose to go there.

Look at Guillermo's small, but extremely telling statement. Many times, especially when Mrs. Smith makes a comment, Guillermo has blasted on here about his vast knowledge of the Bible.

Yet, he cannot even fathom the simplest concepts of Christianity. Jesus said the simplest truths would confound the wise. Guillermo thinks that you end up in hell by not blindly following along with Christian beliefs.

You see, in the delusional mind of the liberal, he knows better than God. Sure 'nuff! College professors have given Guillermo lots of "A"'s because he will parrot their rhetoric, and he thinks that makes him educated, and lots smarter than the "loving Creator".

Liberals arrogance is further demonstrated when God demands that we do not shed innocent blood, yet Guillermo, in his alledged infinite wisdom, defends ripping an unborn baby to shreds in its mothers' womb, stopping a beating heart, and sucking the remains of that child into the killer abortionists' sink, to be thrown away with the rest of the medical waste. Guillermo says is not murder.

You see, Guillermo is smarter than a "loving Creator", in the fantasy that is the liberal mind. And God rewards him for his delusions and hate, by allowing Guillermo and other leftist/liberals, the right to worship the creation other than the Creator. They worship dirt. Wow, are they smart!

Consider a Judge in a criminal courthouse in America. Let's say a man is brought before this Judge who has been charged and convicted of a brutal rape. The man pleads for leniency.

"Your Honor, I have been a good man most of my life. I once saved the life of a drowning man, risking my own life. I served my country in battle, and I have a purple heart. I have helped people financially, and many times given to the poor. I admit I made this one mistake, but I ask you to take in to account my life of good works when considering my sentence."

What should the Judge do? I'll let you ponder that for a while.

Regarding climate change, again the liberal Guillermo, shows us just how warped their views can be.

God warms us of sin and its consequences, yet Guillermo ignores them, and steps over them, to indulge in the fantasy of climate change.

What Guillermo and others on the left are counting on, Mr/Mrs/Miss average American, is for you to be so busy with your life, that you don't have time to wade through their lies and deceptions.

There is no man made global warming. The concept of global warming is a vehicle in which the leftists, like Guillermo, dream of putting you and me in chains. Folks like Guillermo and fredd dream, almost like a perverse fantasy of sorts, of the day that America is destroyed, and the day when you, Mr/Mrs America, are in slavery.

Climate change is sleight of hand, in which leftists, like Guillermo, will gladly rob you with one hand, while you watch the other.

Christians, true Christians, believe that Heaven awaits for anyone who accepts Christ, and they want you go with them. Liberals want to go to hell, and they want to take you with them.

Fredd continues to attack Rush, and yet I suspect that he must secretly love Rush Limbaugh. I guess fredd believes that if he just will call Rush enough names, or say enough mean and angry things about Rush, that he won't love him anymore.

I know it is weird, but leftists are weird.

I don't idolize Rush Limbaugh, I do admire the ideas he put forth.

Liberals get it all wrong when it comes to Rush Limbaugh, or Glenn Beck, or Sarah Palin.

You've seen fredds almost insane ramblings against these people, and as most liberals, he is dead wrong as to why of Rush Limbaugh.

Try and pay attention, you poor liberal souls, I'm about to learn ya somthin'!

I don't like Rush Limbaugh because I agree with everything he says.

NO! I like Rush Limbaugh because he says things that I believe.

Rush, Hannity, Beck, they agree with me, not the other way around.

You liberals follow after people who tell you what and how to think. Conservatives support people who think like they do.

I realize I just laid a bunch of education on your tortured liberal minds. Maybe, just maybe, in those few private moments when hate does not rule you, and God tries to cut through your own personal brain pollution, that tiny seed will grow.

Hey Jeff - here is the announcement from the Dopenhagen religious festival, in which the African nations are demanding 5% of our GDP.

This article clearly shows that I was not false in pointing out this statement, nor was I making it up.

Oh Jeff - Bro, it gets worse, Asian nations are demanding money from us as well. Liberal scientists, in their zeal to accept bribe funding to put forth the warming hoax, have convinced developing nations that we owe them money. (They may not believe the hoax, but they are willing to go along with whatever will give them cash for their repressive governments) Most of these governments that are demanding money are dictatorships or oppressive regimes.

This whole Dopenhagen festival is about as sick as it gets. Please tell me Jeff, that you have not fallen for this baloney hook, line and sinker.

Sean, sometimes a sprinkle of truth is needed, other times a fire hose is required. Between the two of us, we'll get 'er done.

Did you notice that fredd, once again, ignored my points. What would fredd have the judge do in the example I laid out?

In former days, when the American legal system still had a brain, we would execute the rapist, and save the rape baby. In the liberals secular brain, today, you kill the rape baby, and show mercy to the rapist.

The simple truth of why Rush Limbaugh matters, completely escapes liberals, because the idea of original thought escapes them. We, on the right, usually led by God, believe in right and wrong, and that right or wrong is usually clearly defined. The leftists are followers, and hearken unto a word that "seems" good.

Rush Limbaugh is successful because he speaks for millions of conservatives. He does not need to tell us what or how to think, as we already know how. That is why liberal talk radio fails, no one wants to listen to liberals vomit leftist dogma, and tell people how they should think, or why they should think.

I once saw one of my favorite pastors, Pastor Bob of Denver, go into a college class, invited by the teacher to discuss "good and evil".

Repeatedly, Pastor Bob asked these robotic students if absolute evil exist. None could answer. Pastor Bob asked them if rape were evil, they could not answer! It's crazy.

Sean Hannity had a Democrat Congressman on his radio show last week. ELEVEN times Sean asked this Democrat is real evil existed in the world. Eleven times, the Democrat lawmaker ducked the question. Sean aksed, "Was Hitler evil?" The best the Democrat Congressman could come up with is, "what Hitler did was evil."

Sean buddy, you know it takes years of liberal educational abuse to the brain and soul to become so diluted.

To the left, abortion is ok, but driving an SUV is a sin. Sitting on your butt and complaining, then demanding money from others that work, is ok? Working hard, and making millions is a sin. You see how this works. Like I said before, liberals like Guillermo and fredd will step over, and through, and around real horrors, as they embrace their vain imaginations.

  • I gotta ask you Sam, Sean, and all the others out there. If abortion was made illegal tomorrow, do you think the US would be any safer? This seems to be your silver bullet.

Abortion is a horrible thing, but as soon as you start legislating with "morality", its only cool if the morality agrees with what you believe. I live in the Middle East, where "morality" drives everything. All new laws and sentences for criminals have to go through a "Shoura Council" where their morality makes the sentence legitimate or false. Be careful what you wish for, because it's is happening all around the world. And in places that you despise....

-- Posted by jeffhager on Tue, Dec 15, 2009, at 12:41 PM
  • sham, you can keep saying the left thinks abortion is ok but that does not make it true. No one thinks abortions are ok.

Everytime someone tries in vain to reason with you you spout off about abortions. It gets so tireing Sham, it really does. I think you are at a point where you can recycle your old rantings because you basically say the same thing over and over.

Perhaps, at the very least, i can help you out. Every blog simply needs to say, "everything the liberals do is evil, and everything the right wing does is passed down from god".

That would really cut down on the amount of typing you have to do and say the same thing you always do.

-- Posted by president obama on Tue, Dec 15, 2009, at 12:53 PM

Jeff - If your position is that we cannot legislate on the basis of morality, then how do you explain the greenies in light of their moral proclamations?

My friend Jeff, we need a moral basis for almost all our legislation. The very morals behind the legislation is most likely the cause for such legislation. Surely you can see this.

Look at cigarette taxes. Are they not direct action to a moral judgement?

Decisions on affirmative action are based on morality, are they not?

I could give you multitudes of examples. I will if you insist, but I have a point to make first. I'd like you to agree with me that regardless of whether we are in the USA or Egypt, laws are more than likely based on morality. We can argue about whose morality is in authority. I want to fight for what I believe are moral obligations. We can argue and fight over what those are, but it would be foolish, I think, to say that moral concepts are not allowed in the legislation process.

    Thanks Jeff

Bigdawg, I am trying here, I really am. Having laws against murder, obviously does not stop murders from occurring.

Are you suggesting that with have no laws, because no laws will prevent anything from happening? I wish you would tell that to your liberal pals in the environmental movements.

Your question is inaccurate, a straw dawg, (pun intended) because men will break the laws. You really have a weak argument.

But, if you have must examples of a law preventing something from happening, merely by being a law, I can give some. You didn't think I could, because my friend, you get mad at me, and bark before you think.

Here is one: it is against the law to own slaves, or buy or sell people. Now dawg, if you know of someone who is buying or selling people, or someone in the USA that owns slaves, then you let the FBI know. Let me know, Ill tell the FBI!

Here is another one: It is against the law for one man to marry a sheep. As far as I know, there are no men currently married to sheep.

It is also against the law for a person, not born a citizen of the USA, to be President. I don't think that law has been broken, do you?

    We do legislate morality.

I stay on the abortion topic, and I will continue to do so, because you liberals have blood on your hands.

Almost all of you say, I don't like abortion, but....blah blah blah, you vote for people that make it possible for the abortion holocaust to continue. You do it selfishly, little do you care for the life being snuffed out, better you have whatever goodie you want from Uncle Sam. You're pathetic.

You people that will go along with the daily murder of three thousand souls, will go along with **** near anything else as well. You cannot be trusted. You'll break down, and turn on your fellow citizens in a heartbeat, to save your heartbeat.

You're cowards, and you refuse to stand for life, and yet you pretend to have morals. The morals of jackals I say. Kill others that I may live better is a hideous way to live. You should hide your heads in shame. But you have no shame, other than shame for your country.

I know me talking about abortion bothers you. It should bother you, because God is going to ask you about it one day. You tell God all about it. Tell Him how you turned your backs on babies because you wanted someone else to buy your health insurance.

And dawg, if you know of something liberals do well, that benefits mankind, then try and make your argument, go for it.

A new low, even for fredd. I see what is happening here. The fredds of the world drive the conversation in the sewer where no one wants to be. They hope that people will give up, and quit speaking out. Instead of stopping the debate fredd, you are showing many average citizens just how warped and dangerous you really are. You are causing people that normally wouldn't care, to stand up, and see you, and realize, this country is in trouble. Keep talking fredd, you are winning more converts to Conservatism, than Sam is.

Copenhagen is exactly as you have described Sam. Today Al Gore declared the North Pole will have no ice in five years. Crazy stuff. Everybody there wants money, and Sam, your point was right on the money. Phony scientists have told the poor countries that we have injured them, and they delighted to go along with anything that gets them money.

Global warming, evil imperialistic war mongers, non-caring rich bastards, whatever, they'll go along with anything to get cash, oh, except work for it.

Guillermo, same goes for you. Your harangue was laughable. Are you saying that we should have no laws against slavery? I realize that bigdog asked for one example, and Sam answered the mans' question. Your unholy scolding in the past has helped me convince some middle of the road people I know, of the bizarre world of liberal thought.

Really, the hate that you and fredd show appears to be pathological. Stunning, in how devoid of facts and common sense you both are. Daddy does know best, in most American homes. I have never seen you or fredd best the author of this blog in a single argument. He makes you look foolish, and you hate him for it.

Number one cause of global warming: The sun.

Number one greenhouse gas: Water vapor.

What is the Copenhagen conference going to do about that?

Nothing, as they are going to convene and table this discussion for six years. (whew....) Time enough for the world to get a better handle on real information about 'climate change' and quit relying on forged climate models and cooked-up data. We side-stepped a bullet we did.

Guillermo - we were having a discussion about the veracity of Scripture being Holy. I need to ask you for the sake of further discussion: Do you believe in right and wrong? Do you believe in the existence of good and evil? By which (or whose) standard do you measure right or good? By which (or whose) standard do you measure wrong or evil?

    Thank you for your response.

About the link you posted concerning human trafficking - I believe human trafficking is one of many evils - however, I do beleive that it is also illegal in the US, even though it may go on.

Specifically to which laws are you referring, bigdawg?

The problem with passing more laws is keeping track of them. I forget where I read this, but I saw an article about some of the strange laws still on the books in different parts of the country.

Some had to do with spitting on the sidewalk (which used to be a huge deal when dysentary was prevalent...), some dealt with attire, others how you could leash your animal, and some just seemed downright head-scratching unreal. I'll have to see if I can find that article again...

More laws doesn't make for better society if the existing laws cannot be enforced.

On the other hand - if this new health care reform bill becomes law, my health care plan becomes illegal. Is that right?

So if good and evil are subjective, then there is no societal standard. This works well with your assertion concerning abortion, but falls apart when you are dealing with a .45 in your face because someone (insert your own reason here). If Guillermo and his wife are expecting a child, are driving in their car and I cause them to be in an auto accident where Mrs. Guillermo loses her baby...that is okay because the unborn aren't human in Mr. and Mrs. Guillermos view.

The standard kind of falls apart if it is subjective and not absolute, yes?

Another, watered down, example would be a basketball game where the biggest guy on the opposing team punches every other player out and plays HORSE with himself and then declares himself the winner. Without accepted rules that are absolute, the game takes on an entirely different venue, and in fact could not be called basketball at all.

I have three and a half year old twins who love each other dearly - but can kick and scream like wildcats when they both want the same toy. There is no way that 'maturity' replaces the feelings or desires - maybe (and hopefully) the actions...

With much respect to empiracal evidence; the embodied human universal principles you speak of are the fancy of poets without a solid standard by which to live. Your "do unto others" golden rule was given to us by Jesus - who Himself declared Himself as Lord. You need to judge whether He was or not for yourself, and I believe I know where you are on that subject. However, if you do not believe that Jesus was Lord, then why would you follow the sage advice of a madman? For if Jesus is NOT God, then He must only be geniously insane.

You are providing an excellent example of patience and kindness. The good Lord still has much work to do with hubby and me. I think Leo is right, your beat these liberals in the arena of ideas, and then the libs hate even more. The Copenhagen fiasco, has opened our eyes to the threat to our country from radical tree huggers.

It is a shame that Guillterra and this twit fredd refuse to have real conversations. Like Leo, we have showed a few friends some of the comments by these two. Our education system has been teaching an entire generation to hate its own country, and follow after false religions. The tree huggers are into a false religion.

Thanks for not letting up on abortion. When you see how angry fredd just got, you know that down inside even if they don't want to admit it, they know the truth of what is happening. They are going along with baby killing, and no matter how much they deny the reality of God, or Christ, or say they are for "womans rights", they have no excuse. When you remind them of that, they really get PO'd huh?

I see that you are trying to talk some reason with Guillterra. Do you really think it will do any good? I wish you the best, but when you defeat his propaganda, he will turn and call you names.

Fred. My wife and I have adopted two. Regardless of whether this blogger has adopted children or not, does not excuse abortion. The adoption process is hard, takes large amounts of time and money. You have to have good credit, and be willing to lay your personal life on open display. I am glad for that, I would shutter to think of you getting anywhere near children with your level of hate.

The question is yet another straw dog. Liberals are good at questions like, "when did you stop beating your wife?"

The liberals do the same thing when it comes to discussions involving race. If you disagree with them, or this President, you are a racist. This method of operations is successful most of the time, and the libs have their way. Lately, as mainstream Americans have awakened to who and what leftists are, more folks are standing against the schoolyard bully tactics of the left.

As the abortion holocaust rages on, the numbers are becoming quite staggering. There is more behind abortion, than the phony, "women's right to choose".

You must remember how leftists, and those influencing leftist thought, think about humankind. To the leftists, humans are a danger to the planet. To the libs, there are too many people already. Obama has top advisers, Czars, who have advocated the use of forced abortions, sterilizing drinking water, and a one child only policy.

To the anti-God left, the fifty million dead babies are a trophy of sorts. Baby seals - Yeah! Baby boys and girls - Nay!

I stand behind my point, that these leftists, like Guillermo/fredd/carl, hate humans, especially American humans. All you need do to have proof of this, if you can stomach it, is to read what they have written.

What is so funny to watch, and yet sad at the same time, is to see them deny God, rather than face up to what they have been responsible for. Do they think they can deny God, the Creator, right out of existence? No, down inside, they know they can not. God is God, regardless of what they think, and that fact is what drives the hatred you see from Guillermo/fredd/carl.

GI. I wish to explore your notion of cultural mores vs. universal moral principles (ump).

So an apt example of an ump would be the preservation of life; as without the basic protection to life all other ump's would be meaningless. A society should take what measures they may to preserve the life of, say, a five year old; and to protect her from harm. This would include protection from weather, predators (animal and human), clothing, and adequate food and water.

Cultural mores would enter in, say the realm of shelter, based on geographical location. So if she lived on the coast, she may live in a rock house, vs. if she lived in a forest, she may live in a log house. Mores would also dictate food consumed, clothing worn, and type of education for her region.

So how does a more of wearing a nose ring equate to an ump as basic as a right to life? It doesn't. How does a more of wearing wooden shoes equate to a right to living unmolested? It doesn't. As you can see, cultural mores, such as the American cultural more of abortion, do not equate to ump's.

The study of ump's really not need go further than the Bible - which is the foremost authority of moral principles. And I will continue to argue that unless they are rooted solidly, they are worthless. As an example, fredd's moral principles do not mirror yours, and certainly not mine.

I would be interested in hearing why you would follow the advice of Christ vis a vis the 'Golden Rule' who avowed to be God incarnate. Was Christ Holy - or merely a madman?

Mickel - In your discussions with Guillermo, the fact still remains that Guillermo, and those like him, stand on the side of the murder of the unborn.

Guillermo's excuse was puny as well. Just because Guillermo claims that no one has proved that Christ is God, to his satisfaction, killing the unborn can proceed right on unabated. That is horse crap. Does that mean we should have no laws against murder, little Guillermo doesn't believe. So what?

The fact is Guillermo stand on the side of killing these babies, and wishing God away isn't going to do the job.

The argument against abortion does not need God in the picture to be wrong. What does Guillermo beleive in, Karma? It is good Karma to systematically and cold-bloodedly murder our own kids.

What shall we say about a thirty year old woman who has had three abortions, but she has super self esteem, she recycles aluminum cans?

No way. Guillermo would love to wash his hands of the guilt, the judgement for abortion. Wishing God out of existence is not going to work. Sounding like a Thesaurus doesn't cut it either.

Just because Guillermo doesn't believe, does not change the facts. Killing is killing, and Guillermo's hypocrisy is therefore open for all to see. So concerns is Guillermo for the Iraq citizens, so concerned is he for the prisoners at Gitmo, he is a phony.

And watch out for this phony affection Mickel. The man's soul has been polluted with liberalism. How could he be trusted in anything?

Big Dawg - I am going to try and get to your position one more time.

What your saying is that when it comes to abortion, the killing of an unborn child, that one position is where the government absolutely must stay out of the decision. Is that right?

Yet, you have no problem with all the other things the government controls right now, and YOU want MORE controls. More government into every single aspect of our lives, the one decision where lives are on the line, the govt should stay away?

That is loony dawg, plum loony.

You are going to have to do more than simply call me a hypocrite. If you are voting for politicians and laws that see to it babies die, then at least man up about it. Admit that their blood is on your hands. Quit trying to duck out from the responsibility.

Either Christ was Who and What He said He was, or his was the most incredible lunatic of all times.

Prior to 1960, "social diseases" were limited to about two common ailments.

    Then along came genital herpes, apparently due to a huge increase in non-impregnating sexual practices;

    After that, HIV which quickly developed into aids, apparently spreading to human populations from specific monkey species;

Add the severe chromosonal damage resulting from several types of illegal drug use and addiction, plus spreading of HIV from dirty needles.

Today, pre-teen,early-teen and mid-teen girls who are infected with three "less serious" STDs and have full blown AIDs are becoming pregnant the old-fashioned way, but with no idea of who the "sperm donor" was from among the herd.

Of course, the problem is compounded by members of the breeding male herd routinely practicing "unprotected sex" frequently and at random, before delivering any unfortunate result to all sexual partners in order.

The position of the self-proclaimed "moral Americans" is that even with 99.99999% certain physical deformities and mental disabilities, the doomed teen-age prostitute should deliver the result of that unplanned and unwanted pregnancy.

Whenb society completes paying the price for that decision, there is no funding remaining for cardio services required for a 62-year-old grandmother, who worked in a highway diner to finance her Bachelors and Masters degrees, so whe could work 36 years professionally and then find herself dying from lack of health insurance, when her company closed its doors.

The conservatives insist we must provide medical services for a crippled, retarded infant from conception to the grave (15-70 years) -- leaving a productive citizen without care.

The conservatives insist they want to reduce the size of all government, except to police everyone's personal sexual activity, control every woman's reproductive rights and finance that intrusion with the tax dollars which might have provided medical care for the productive senior citizen with nearly a half century of solid contribution.

Shall we fund a federal Class A CDL Licensees personal sex practices and lifestyles management department??

Enroute home, every long-haul trucker would stop at a CDL Control Agency office, "check out" a federal inspector, who shall be with the Class A CDL operator 24/7 while at home and off the road.

    The CDL Inspector would remain with the "gearjammer" 24/7 to protect the driver and his associates from improper sexual practices and by all means prevent any "unprotected" activities which might result in an unwanted pregnncy, resulting in an abortion;

Naturally, each Class A CDL operator would be expected to provide at least a standard bed roll-away bed for the inspector, providing modest comfort while carrying out official inspection duties in the Class A CDL operators bedroom.

Naturally, because this official inspection corps will be established and operated in the interest of maintaining politically correct matters, the service provided would be in the highest moral traditions.

GI - I guess we are going to agree to disagree. There could be potentially thousands of mores that violate UMP's - and of course there are. (as many as man's imagination would allow I would assume) But the point I've been driving at is the veracity of the UMP's themselves as being "universal" because of mankind recognizing they are from God.

Hindu, Christian and Muslim alike (not to exclude other religions, but these are the 'big three') abhor and legislate against various crimes against humanity. All have various laws pertaining to the 'unlawful' taking of someone elses life. Granted there is a large sub-strata of 'for-instances'; but I think you follow.

Your example of clitoridectomy is an apt one concerning being torturous - But I would argue that abortion is torturous to the nth degree - not only for the unborn, but for the mother as well. There is a growing contingent of women who not only regret their abortions due to the loss of a child, but also due to the loss of some part of themselves in the process. It may seem like a logical procedure to you - but I can only assume you have been shielded from either the atrocity itself, or those who have endured it.

I have not been spared that - and logic tells me that this travesty is unnecessary.

ps - on another thread I mentioned Zecharia Sitchin - I'm very familiar with his work - however I do not subscribe to a thirteenth planet theory or the seeding of aliens.

I am also familiar with Adrian Gilbert, Graham Hancock, Maurice Cotterell, and Aleister Crowley. But I don't subscribe to their theories with unqualified enthusiasm either.
