It's A Men's Health Issue

Posted Thursday, October 1, 2009, at 6:05 PM

There are things we can and should learn from the left. Take the global warming/climate change debate for example. You have got to hand it to our friends, the liberals, they did a outstanding job promoting what I believe to be a complete hoax, man made global warming and climate change.

I admit it liberals, it has been inspiring to watch you work.

We on the right need our own hoax, the trick is to come up with one that doesn't really hurt anybody, and yet impacts the culture. Then use the same tactics that leftists have used to promote the climate change myth. The results might be surprising.

There has been a particular phony story out in the Internet world for years now, dating clear back to August 2000, stating that men ogling women's' breasts for ten minutes a day, has the same cardiovascular benefits as thirty minutes on the treadmill.

What at wonderful hoax! A complete fabrication. Go to Google, type in ogling women men's health and you get almost five thousand entries. Want to read them all? No need, About.com re: Urban Legends, has debunked the myth, and states the phony story goes something like this:

"Good news for girl watchers...Ogling over women's breasts is good for a man's health and can add years to his life, medical experts have discovered, according to the New England Journal of Medicine." The story goes on to say that "Just 10 minutes of staring at the charms of a well-endowed female is roughly equivalent to a 30-minute aerobic workout," declared Dr. Karen Weatherby.

The phony article will say how men who watched women's breasts 10 mins. a day had lower blood pressure, slower resting pulse, and fewer instances of coronary artery disease."

All false. About.com found no such article, and no Dr. Weatherby. Yet, I found almost sixty thousand hits when searching for her and this hoax of an article. Of course it is a phony story, but it sounds wonderful. What a simple remedy to keep men healthy. If it were only so, huh? Let's be like the liberals, why let something as meaningless as truth stand in the way. Let's promote the story anyway, and defend it using liberal techniques.

It would go something like this:

This is a men's health issue folks. With all the talk of health care, we men have a duty to stay healthy. It is our duty to stare at women's breasts, at least ten minutes a day, to promote good health.

Using what we have learned from liberals, we know how to respond if someone has the gall to challenge the validity of your story, you simply say, "Now what do you have against men's health? Are you one of those Insurance company clowns, who want men to get sick and die so you don't have to pay insurance claims?"

Simple isn't it.

If women object to having men stare at them for 10 mins each day, we simply use the "Joe Biden" on them. "It is your patriotic duty to help men stay healthy. If your man is healthy, he can work and pay taxes, so come on ladies, do your part."

Maybe some would try and tell us which women we could stare at for 10 mins...well, that won't do. It's all about choice, isn't it?

It's a men's health issue, and an economic issue as well, as this would be an inexpensive way to keep your man healthy.

If anyone points out that this is a complete hoax, you use the well used liberal ploy and call for more education.

"We need serious education for men in this area. Men, be careful, as with any exercise program, start slow, only stare at women's breasts for a minute or two a day at first, you need to work up to ten minutes. We need our opponents to stop interfering with Men's Health issues, and we need some funding to further study this phenomenon."

Here I thought Hugh Hefner was just a dirty old man, and it's turns out he has a Men's Health magazine. Wow!

Do not worry about the facts, as the left has shown us repeatedly, truth is whatever you think it is. Just repeat the falsehood, over and over, and again and again, and people believe it.

In this men's health issue, we may have some benefits from promoting it. Next time you're at the County Fair, and your wife catches checking out a babe, you can say, "Geez honey, I was only exercising."

Liberals wouldn't stop there, and neither should we. We need an advocacy group, someone who will demand that men get at least ten minutes each day at work to stare at women's breasts. It is important that men stay healthy. If men stay healthy by staring at women's breasts, that puts less stress on the health care system, and gives Obama's health care plan a chance.

Unions should be able to get out front on that issue. (pun intended)

I have been wondering how, under government health care, breast enlargements would be covered. Now you get women involved in this "growing men's health issue". See how it works? Time for some "stimulus" money to research the "medical" benefits to both parties in breast enhancement.

And liberals have taught us even more. When our story gets attacked for having no basis in fact, you bring out the personal testimonies. You have a rally where a lady stands to proclaim: "My Jim Bob was a lazy slob, until I started letting him stare at my breasts each day. Now he's a changed man."

Then we need the following support groups for men who want to stare but no one will let them, men who stare to much, women who want to be stared at but no one will, women who are starred at too much, and so forth, and with that, a few more University Studies.

The trick is on the scientific studies, you got to be clear to the researcher getting the public funds to make the study, of the results you want.

I have tried to have a little fun here. We are all going to need our sense of humor if the President gets his radical environmental agenda pushed through. Please take a minute let your Representatives know where you stand on Cap and Tax.

In the meantime, I gotta go look at something.

Yeah, legs are great too.

Be honest Guillermo, you do notice women's breasts?

-- Posted by Chunky Peanut Butter on Wed, Oct 7, 2009, at 9:57 PM

Guillermo,

I think we'll learn more looking at women's breasts than we will listening to leftist intellectuals. Spending ones life in academia does not necessarily transfer into actual life experience.

It is obvious that you have been very well indoctrinated, as President Obama has. You just need to gain experience in life, once you begin to understand the difference between, being educated, and being programed.

We were having quite a spirited discussion prior to my little suspension which you were bragging to me about your level of volunteer work.

I don't know if you ever got my response, but, volunteerism, however wonderful and necessary, is not what made America a great land. It was profit dear Guillermo, profit, not volunteers. I can point to this example alone (although there are many) to show how you have been programed, not educated.

Profit allows freedom, and your programed robotic brain cannot see that simple fact because of the high level of your indoctrination.

You have quite frequently attacked the United States, in the typical leftist haughty tone, and I wonder just how much of that hate was drilled into you by a corrupted higher education system.

I think it is time Guillermo, for you to stop being merely the mouthpiece for some 60's hippies, who now call themselves professors.

Our friend Brian Hoag, often laments the lack of cooperation between both sides, and he should. But as I just recently pointed out to him, it is the left in this country that refuses to compromise. It is the left that is intolerant, racial at every opportunity, and it is the left that tries to smear, and divide, and harass opposition, not the right.

Until you have the stones to be honest, and admit that fact, I don't see you growing very much, unless your satisfied with merely being a leftist pit bull.

And I do pray for you. Not as much as I should, it's hard sometimes, mainly because it's heartbreaking.

Why is it heartbreaking? Because you have all that talent, and yet you let a bunch of screwball leftists do your thinking for you.

Mr. Mickel - Well said sir.

Seriously, Hank...you believe Algore when he launches into his "I created the internet" diatribe?

ps. I've got a National Geographic circa 1976 where almost every 'credible' scientist on the globe was predicting the next ice age.

You must have missed that issue, else you wouldn't have drummed on so about '60 years' of global warming warnings.

Seems you pick and choose what you want to believe along with the rest of us.

-- Posted by Mickel on Sat, Oct 3, 2009, at 4:16 PM

There are basically three problems with the arguement for "man-made" global warming.

#1 The sun is the ONLY means of heat and light for the planet. Both the heat and the light are the results of a non-ending consumption of dense gases, from which the sun is comprised, and are both forms of radiation. We as humans and all of our egos reside upon this planet which is so small compared to the sun; that it would be akin to a mote of dust astride an eyelash of the lord BHO. The sun produces a cyclical phenomenon called "sun-spots" which are the largest factor for surges and decreases in global temperature. Even gilly's omniscient scientists cannot refute this.

#2. 2/3rd's of the earths surface area is comprised of water. Water is THE largest factor over constancy of the earths temperature found on our planet. This happens in various ways, two of which I will address. Water, when exposed to various radiations emitted by Sol, our sun; evaporates and rises into the air. This collection of water in the atmosphere regulates the temperature by creating clouds which shade otherwise unshadable areas. The water vapor also has a heating and cooling effect on the earth by either holding or releasing heat, something we call humidity. Secondly, the currents of the ocean also have a huge impact on the earth's temperature by circulating heated and cooled water around the planet on a consistent basis.

#3 The big villain in the man-made global warming argument is carbon. Contrary to popular belief; carbon is a finite element on both our planet and in the universe. There is only 'so-much' carbon to be had. Energy never goes away, it only changes form; similar to this is carbon, in that it shifts and changes from form to form. Carbon is found in literally every component of life and most forms on non-life. It is either free, or it is trapped. But there is never more or less of it anywhere...ever. Basically, the carbon is redistributed. There are going to be fluctuations in various areas, i.e. the atmosphere or the oceans or the prairies, on carbon levels. But we have not digested enough data to determine that these are ultimately negative trends. The best information that warmers have comes from computer models, which predict 'warming' the same way as you can predict the flavor of pizza from a magazine ad. It's really just a big guess.

Hank - I appreciate you, I do. On Brian's blog, I just posted an answer to Brian's challenge, and if you'd like to take a couple of minutes, please read it.

I understand that there is much info out there, and we are bombarded with facts and figures coming at us from all sides.

Let us continue to be sincere in our efforts to find the actual truth.

Candy - You must be new to our wonderful blog world, and welcome. I am glad to know your "hubby" is getting involved with this serious men's health issue.

RE: Guillermo, He thinks it is funny, but I pray for the guy. I think he is wonderfully talented, and brilliant. I also think he has been the victim of horrid leftist propaganda for way too long. God loves him and me and you. I suspect that one day, hopefully sooner than later, Guillermo will see the light. And then watch out! Until then, I hope he stays around, and Guillermo, you have my blessing to fight like hell. I will.

Karl - I like the redundant diatribes. I think an excellent example of that would be Al Gore's speech to Moveon.org when he was screaming, about President Bush, "He betrayed this country!"

Husker23, yes indeed, the "man-made" part is the key. The key to the government robbing us in the name of the environment, the key to controlling us from our "evil" presence upon the Earth. Thanks for the comments.

Monte - "Meadow muffins"? Super, thanks for that!

Smitty ol' Top,

If Mother Earth undergoes a major overnight climate change, it will probably be the result of one of two natural disasters.

The result will be a quick chill down and the start of at least a mini-Ice Age.

1] Least likely, but the geological proof is there. Asteroid impacts within Siberia, the South Pacific, almost certainly Africa, and one which created the Yucatan peninsula.

2]Much less likely, but almost inevitable, one of the known super-volcanoes erupts. The entire Yellowstone caldera, and more probable, somewhere along the entire Pacific Rim of Fire.

However, between these two causes, Earth's inhabitants could be in for a long winter at any point within the next 400,000 years or so.

Certainly justification for intellectual contemplation of one's belly button, but why lose sleep over it. Even my grandkids shouldn't walk around with furrowed brow.

Hazards caused by drunk drivers are far more real.

But so are the climate changes being created by burned fossil fuel emissions. Acid rain caused by coal fired industrial furnaces destroyed huge sections of Southern Canada's and New England forests. When the rate of emissions from those sources diminished, the forests began returning.

What concerns me is the naysayers believe that global warning is all fiction.

Please explain, if the pure scientists and academics who began warning about this problem sixty years ago were inventing the risk:

1] Why didn't they shut up to keep their corporate research grants coming?

2] Why do today's climate scientists around the world, universally agree regarding cause and effect of global warming? Less than one-tenth of one per cent are disagreeing, and they work (or have worked) for emission-producing corporations or governments.

3] If all our scientists are lying and misleading us, why not just close down ALL SCHOOLS, kindergarten through Oxford, Harvard, CalTech, MIT, U.N. (Except for football of course) and all those other wasteful places of learning.

Hey, let's close the libraries as well -- all those books have to be subversive.

Just think, if we had just done that when I was a "younker" and headed for a bronc riding career, more than 90% of all products in all retail stores today would not exist.

No TV, no Sirius radio, no Offset printed newspapers, certainly NO on-line newspapers, NO Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity, Savage or Coulter, NO modern medicines [With stints, open heart surgeries, joint replacements, organ transplants or modern hospitals with all their electronics], no digital anything, no cell phones, No Computers, No Internet, NO computers and no chance for any Educated Idiots to harass all the open-minded conservative thinkers.

Oh yeah, NO JOBS CREATED WITH THIS PHONY SCIENCE.

Sorry folks, you can't logically sit before your computer or that big-screen HDTV -- and reasonably deny scientifically proven facts.

Or have you the God Given Genius and Divine Inspiration allowing each of you to infallibly select those things which you believe to be true, and reject all others.

Oh by the way, RE: Al Gore buying energy credits.

You want to restrict that market to the Bin Ladin family and the Persian Gulf wealthy folks, Hong Kong bankers, the Mellons, Astors, Huntingtons, Rockerfellers and other old money types, say Queen Elizabeth and the English royals and family.

Funny thing about ol' Al, he understood what could be with the internet back about 40 years ago.

Without Al's leadership, this free, world-wide instantaneous communications and research system would not exist as it does today.

We'd have something, probably a system owned and controlled by investors. Probably some of the same good ol' boys responsible for our banks' current prosperity.

How do you say $1.00 per minute for Internet time?

Think about it, all you conservatives.

Mrs. Smith, you are a dear woman. I think that was the whole point of Sam's blog was to show how people continue to buy the nonsense.

CandyKilroy, You sound like an amazing woman. Glad to know there are ladies like you and Mrs. Smith out there. Most women are born with the ability to recognize a meadow muffin when they see one. The global warming believers could be chin deep in meadow muffins and never know it. You have proof of that by reading anything Mr. Inglaterra says.

-- Posted by RMontana on Sat, Oct 3, 2009, at 1:36 AM

Hey, Hank...maybe you should have saved the bytes and just read the data. I know that's tough, especially when it disagrees with your opinion, but seriously, did you really think Al Gore started buying carbon credits from himself for the environment? ROFL!!

http://www.newscientist.com/article/mg20...

This is an article about how well the planet will survive if we do actually go through a warming cycle EXACTLY like the earth did 55 million years ago. (Boy, I wonder what oil deposits the dinosaurs burned to cause that, don't you??)

-- Posted by MrsSmith on Fri, Oct 2, 2009, at 10:35 PM

Hey Mrs. Smith,

Just emailed McMurdoo Sound in Antartica, told them to advise the penquins to quit walking from the snow pack across the gravel and rocks to the water.

The snow melt is all fiction, the tuxedoed, flightless seabirds can just drop down on their bellies and slide across the rocks, using mental power to turn those rocks into ice.

Assured them that the 800 sq. mi. block of the Ross Shelf which broke off last year was all an illusion and a liberal conspiracy designed to confuse snow birds in Arizona.

Still curious how some folks who spent their working years on a government payroll are able to convert a lifetime conservative businessman into an extreme left winger in their simplistic phychology.

That is a businessman who has fought with every major Health, Medical and Insurance company to secure full coverage and decent rates for his employees.

Even to the point of establishing a corporate shell four states away, in order to buy from a carrier who would deliver quality at a fair price.

Did you notice, the BofA president who went along with the BILLIONS in bonuses for the clowns who bankrupted Merrill Lynch is resigning.

Now if the states where Blue Cross/Blue Shield have an effective monoply with 75% -96% of all health insurance within the stte--will legislate some compeition.

Maybe you conservative thInkers can explain how a chief executive oF a NON-PROFIT Health Insurance company which has a legally enforced monopoly in one state, is worth $4--MILLION ANNUALLY.

Sam, My hubby and I both say thanks for the wonderful news. I have never seen him so anxious to get started with a new exercise routine. We'll take the advice above, and not overdo it to begin with, starting with just a minute or two, and working our way up.

As a woman, I am proud to get involved and do my patriotic duty.

You really nailed the left with this article. Not only did you show the left for what they are, Guillterra showed exactly how liberals work by immediately trying to smear you, then act superior with alledged intellegence.

Thanks again Sam for being right on the money. This was a perfect demonstration of how idiotic liberalism gets started and spread.

Even if global warming were a myth, which I do not believe, what is wrong or un-American about wanting to reduce our dependence on foreign oil by developing renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, water, and ethonal? Development of renewable energy sources should be both a conservative and liberal and middle of the road issue, should it not?

When visiting Europe I was humbled by their less energy intensive lifestyle. It reminded me of my grandparents way of life and that indeed I had become an energy hog.

Since returning from my second visit a couple years ago I have purchased the most energy efficient vehicle I could afford (40 mpg highway), a "water saving" washing machine (does an excellent job and does a great job of wringing out the clothes and lessens drying time), the most "water saving" shower head I could find, etc--all of these actions save me money. Isn't the above the ultimate in the true American way of life? Thrift, respect for the environment, conserving for the future generations.

I was taught objectifying women was the behavior of the immature.

All you good ol' boys with your liberal conspiracy ideas.

Loved the claim that all the true Communists in the former Soviet Union are now environmentalists.

SORRY -- But the bulk of the old TOTALITARION thugs within the governing regime, retained their KGB organizations and became what is referred to as the Russian Mafia.

It really happened. Back about 1980, Phillip Morris shipped a few cigarettes into Moscow. Having had no luck getting shipments through Europe to Moscow, they shipped to one of the Pacific ports with Siberian Railroad service.

For security, they contracted with the bosses of the Moscow Mafia, who dispatched more than 100 people to guard the trainload of cigarettes.

The irony, there were repeated attempts to hi-jack the train during the week it took to cross from the Pacific to Moscow.

The hi-jackers were "local Mafia" who upon recognizing the Moscow bosses,in every confrontation backed off with apologies.

There is ample evidence that no member of the ruling Soviet government, or any of its leaders, in any of the "Republics" has ever considered the environment and ecology to be even slightly important.

As to my statement that China is far ahead of the U.S., in solar generation -- Sorry, boys but do your research. It is a simple fact.

Are they building new coal burning generators and factories. Just as fast as they can.

Does Europe have us beaten on Wind Generation and Nuclear Power. By several multiples with each.

Boone Pickens got the cart before the horse with his push for a Wind Farm stretching from the southern end of the Texas Panhandle into Canada, at leasst 100 miles wide.

Pickens figured to finance the generators, but wanted you and me to finance the collection system.

Eventually we will, if he will handle the windmills. Still saying it is only logical to convert gasoline fueled engines to Compressed Natural Gas.

We have ample reserves and can make it work.

The keywords here are "man made". To ignore the changes that the earth goes through are agreeably naive. However, how much of that is caused by man (who has been on this earth for a relatively short time compared to the history of the planet) is undetermined. That is not a consensus among scientists.

The earth will continue to go through its cycles for millions of years with or without mankind. What proof is there that man has contributed? Those glaciers and polar icecaps have been receding for hundreds, thousands of years (since record keeping started).

The earth is a living planet...continually changing. The assumption that man can have such an influential impact (positive or negative) is a bit egocentric. Do you really believe that we can control the carbon levels, temperature, weather patterns of this planet (positively or negatively) with any amount of investment?

It's too bad you guys weren't around 2.5 billion years ago to help "prevent" the Grand Canyon from forming.

1. I thought the radical conservatives did have a hoax. Isn't it the one about Obama being a black seperatist communist?

2. I can't believe the stubbornness and ignorance of certain people in this country. To flat out refuse their is nothing odd going on with our climate is ridiculous. If this is a hoax brought on by the far left, why is seemingly every world power now behind it? Countries that disagree about everything else can agree on global warming. The problem with many people on this board is that they assume to know more than the experts who have put their whole lives in to researching these things.

Get over yourselves. If a genius climate expert tells me something about our climate, i'll listen.

Sam,

Great article. Right on target again.

Hank,

China? Far ahead of us? They are building a new coal fire plant every 10 days. They would love for us to tie our own hands with respect to our energy and spend our way into bankruptcy over this myth.

If you want to look at the effects of "global warming" and carbon in the atmosphere, you really need to go back more than the few hundred thousand years that Algore does. This planet is 4 billion years old, and technically still in an ice age.

Carbon levels have been much much higher than they are today and in fact helped create a much greener planet millions of years ago.

Good point MrsSmith on the antartic...something that the media seems to forget when reporting this "man-made" phenomenom.

-- Posted by Husker23 on Fri, Oct 2, 2009, at 8:37 AM

Sam, thanks for the funny column. Like most thoughtful conservatives, I can actually recognise humor. Too bad the libs have no sense of it. :-)

-- Posted by MrsSmith on Fri, Oct 2, 2009, at 7:31 AM

Global warming? Rapid disappearance of ice? Well, the ice is melting over that active volcano. Not so much on the other end of the world...

http://www.ecoworld.com/climate/the-real...

The antarctic ice is increasing...""The sea ice around the continent is far above average (ref. UIUC). Also, note the colder than average sea surface temperatures around Antarctic (ref. NOAA)."

Global warming - or "climate change" - is nothing more than a hoax pushed by greenies and tree huggers...and those that make huge profits from it, like Uncle Sam and Al Gore. Personally, I'll start believing it when people like Al actually reduce their own massive energy consumption.

Come on Guill, get out of the closet see whats going on out in the real world.

-- Posted by orville on Fri, Oct 2, 2009, at 5:39 AM

Mr. Inglaterra, Sam is right, you are an instigator of hate. I remember a blog in which you accused Sam of using drugs to talk little girls into his truck. You also accused Sam and another person who disagreed with you of being gay. You're quite a piece of work. It would be nice to have you actually act like a man for a change. The global warming issue is not settled, although I can see why you liberals would try to end debate. I have to laugh a bit when I see the blissfully ignorant Mr. Inglaterra also claim the stimulus is working. You liberals waste billions, even trillions of dollars paying off big city mayors, unions, and teachers unions, George Soros, terrorists groups and radical Fascists groups, and then when a little of this incredible waste works just a tiny bit, you call it a success.

Sam, what really irritates Mr. Inglaterra more than anything is the fact that he knows the day of the leftist is coming to an end. I suspect we will see Mr. Inglaterra and others like him to use even more hate, more propaganda, more lies and do it all with the utmost sincerity, until they are defeated, which will be sooner than they think, thank GOD! I appreciate the blog, thanks.

Guill,Just where is the stimulus package paying off?

-- Posted by orville on Thu, Oct 1, 2009, at 9:35 PM

Misogyny? Did little Guill learn a new word today.

Misogyny - hatred, dislike, or mistrust of women.

You retort was weak, as usual. Nothing I said suggested any of that, and you do what liberals always do Guill, spew venom.

If I remember correctly Guillermo, it was really you started with the hate talk on these blogs. Your first entry to one of my blogs was that you hoped I would get a disease and die. Now you come up with misogyny. Try and elevate your game a bit would ya?

Hank - I have no doubt that the Earth goes through changes and stages of change, and all that. I just do not buy the "Man-made" part of the debate. The reason the "man-made" debate is so important to the discussion is that the left wishes to control every body's life via the man made climate change hoax.

When the former Soviet Union broke up, many of the worlds pure Communists, found their way to the Environmentalist causes. The Communists do not really buy into the hoax, but they are willing to use it to bring down the USA and to enslave people.

I am support the wise and prudent use of all of Earths resources. I support clear air and clean water. I do not support the crippling of our economy, nor the enslavement or our people under the delusion that people suck.

I appreciate you folks reading.

The right seems to be real big on throwing out the phrase "generational theft". Well, what kind of world are we leaving our children, your grandchildren sam? One simply has to look at photos of the polar ice caps to see it is happening. You are appeently a gambling man sam. Sam,

Suggest you email some of the folks at Barrow, Alaska and ask them about the global warming myth.

Or get in touch with someone at Fort Churchill up on Hudson Bay.

THE ARTIC ICE CAP IS DAMN NEAR GONE.

Glaciers world wide are receding faster in a year, than in the 200 years before 1960.

Pacific island chains are disappearing beneath the water.

Along the Carolina Outer Banks and the North and South Carolina coasts, formerly dry lands alongside the bays and estuaries and beaches are underwater or have become swamps.

The Florida keys are getting smaller and smaller as the ocean rises due to melting snow.

Anartic penquins are forced to walk miles across gravel and rocks from the ice cap to water, where just ten years ago, they slid to the edge of the ice and straight into the water.

Glaciers in the Colorado, Wyoming, Montana and Idaho Rockies have virtually disappeared.

It is not just our auto exhausts, China has been pouring coal smoke from industrial smoke stacks at unprecedented levels the past 30 years.

But even China is setting up solar energy arrays on rooftops at a record pace. They are far ahead of us, just as Europe has a huge lead on wind generation.

Glaciers are receding all along the Andes, in New Zealand, Patagonia and Tasmania.

Mt. Kilianjaro in Africa has been devoid of snow cover for several years.

The snow depth on Mt. Fuji has been reduced by 80 per cent.

The Southern Russian Urals have gone from brutal cold in winter to temperatures historically associated with early spring and late autumn.

You have a keyboard, start researching the local sources.

Just don't be surprised when you are told, "No more diesel. All big rigs will be converted to CNG."

I'm personally looking to buy a 1-ton, megacabbed, long bed dually, have the engine torn down and cleaned, swap out the exhaust manifold and exhaust pipes back to the cat converter and convert to CNG.

Not from concern for the environment, but the idea of being able to refuel for 70 cents per gallon in several states, with a 6000 mile fuel range makes sense to me. Plus, the CNG capacity will let me cook and heat the Fifth Wheel Trailer with CNG, while furnishing all the electricity with 4-6 photovotaic solar panels on the trailer roof.

Frankly, can't quite understand how you regard those hated liberals as being totally incompetent, slothful, lazy, stupid and borderline insane -- and at the same time recognize they have melted the polar ice caps, glaciers world wide, high mountain snow caps and have left polar bears stumbling around on bare tundra.

Now that's one heckuva liberal conspiracy.

We conducted winter exercises on Vail Mountain with 40-50 feet of snow in a mild winter. Vail is now seriously considering installing snow making equipment.

That must be because the Obama family wants to play golf at Vail in the winter, rather than ski.

Get a life man, many bird species which historically wintered in South and Central America are now found all winter along the Atlantic Coast as far north as central Maryland, and all across the Gulf Coast.

How do you suppose those stupid liberals trained hundreds of thousands of birds to change their habits?

Oh yeah, mountain states elk are wintering as much as 2,000 feet higher than in 1950-60.

Must be malfunctioning compasses within their minds, since it could not possibly have anything to do with that mythical Global Warning.

If Global Warming is such a myth, why are the major oil companies collaborating on offshore drilling rigs for the Artic Ocean off Alaska, when they no longer have Ice Island to drill from in the winter.

Put that skull-case to work and do your research.

The information is out there, from local folks across the artic, to the Antartic.

Just as I refuse to accept the conservative lines expressed here and do my own research.

Don;t believe me. Do your own research, but do it with an open mind.
