It's A Men's Health IssuePosted Thursday, October 1, 2009, at 6:05 PM
I admit it liberals, it has been inspiring to watch you work.
We on the right need our own hoax, the trick is to come up with one that doesn't really hurt anybody, and yet impacts the culture. Then use the same tactics that leftists have used to promote the climate change myth. The results might be surprising.
There has been a particular phony story out in the Internet world for years now, dating clear back to August 2000, stating that men ogling women's' breasts for ten minutes a day, has the same cardiovascular benefits as thirty minutes on the treadmill.
What at wonderful hoax! A complete fabrication. Go to Google, type in ogling women men's health and you get almost five thousand entries. Want to read them all? No need, About.com re: Urban Legends, has debunked the myth, and states the phony story goes something like this:
"Good news for girl watchers...Ogling over women's breasts is good for a man's health and can add years to his life, medical experts have discovered, according to the New England Journal of Medicine." The story goes on to say that "Just 10 minutes of staring at the charms of a well-endowed female is roughly equivalent to a 30-minute aerobic workout," declared Dr. Karen Weatherby.
The phony article will say how men who watched women's breasts 10 mins. a day had lower blood pressure, slower resting pulse, and fewer instances of coronary artery disease."
All false. About.com found no such article, and no Dr. Weatherby. Yet, I found almost sixty thousand hits when searching for her and this hoax of an article. Of course it is a phony story, but it sounds wonderful. What a simple remedy to keep men healthy. If it were only so, huh? Let's be like the liberals, why let something as meaningless as truth stand in the way. Let's promote the story anyway, and defend it using liberal techniques.
It would go something like this:
This is a men's health issue folks. With all the talk of health care, we men have a duty to stay healthy. It is our duty to stare at women's breasts, at least ten minutes a day, to promote good health.
Using what we have learned from liberals, we know how to respond if someone has the gall to challenge the validity of your story, you simply say, "Now what do you have against men's health? Are you one of those Insurance company clowns, who want men to get sick and die so you don't have to pay insurance claims?"
Simple isn't it.
If women object to having men stare at them for 10 mins each day, we simply use the "Joe Biden" on them. "It is your patriotic duty to help men stay healthy. If your man is healthy, he can work and pay taxes, so come on ladies, do your part."
Maybe some would try and tell us which women we could stare at for 10 mins...well, that won't do. It's all about choice, isn't it?
It's a men's health issue, and an economic issue as well, as this would be an inexpensive way to keep your man healthy.
If anyone points out that this is a complete hoax, you use the well used liberal ploy and call for more education.
"We need serious education for men in this area. Men, be careful, as with any exercise program, start slow, only stare at women's breasts for a minute or two a day at first, you need to work up to ten minutes. We need our opponents to stop interfering with Men's Health issues, and we need some funding to further study this phenomenon."
Here I thought Hugh Hefner was just a dirty old man, and it's turns out he has a Men's Health magazine. Wow!
Do not worry about the facts, as the left has shown us repeatedly, truth is whatever you think it is. Just repeat the falsehood, over and over, and again and again, and people believe it.
In this men's health issue, we may have some benefits from promoting it. Next time you're at the County Fair, and your wife catches checking out a babe, you can say, "Geez honey, I was only exercising."
Liberals wouldn't stop there, and neither should we. We need an advocacy group, someone who will demand that men get at least ten minutes each day at work to stare at women's breasts. It is important that men stay healthy. If men stay healthy by staring at women's breasts, that puts less stress on the health care system, and gives Obama's health care plan a chance.
Unions should be able to get out front on that issue. (pun intended)
I have been wondering how, under government health care, breast enlargements would be covered. Now you get women involved in this "growing men's health issue". See how it works? Time for some "stimulus" money to research the "medical" benefits to both parties in breast enhancement.
And liberals have taught us even more. When our story gets attacked for having no basis in fact, you bring out the personal testimonies. You have a rally where a lady stands to proclaim: "My Jim Bob was a lazy slob, until I started letting him stare at my breasts each day. Now he's a changed man."
Then we need the following support groups for men who want to stare but no one will let them, men who stare to much, women who want to be stared at but no one will, women who are starred at too much, and so forth, and with that, a few more University Studies.
The trick is on the scientific studies, you got to be clear to the researcher getting the public funds to make the study, of the results you want.
I have tried to have a little fun here. We are all going to need our sense of humor if the President gets his radical environmental agenda pushed through. Please take a minute let your Representatives know where you stand on Cap and Tax.
In the meantime, I gotta go look at something.
