Science Czar: Babies Aren't HumanPosted Wednesday, July 29, 2009, at 8:51 PM
Not a human?
This particular Obama pick co-wrote "Human Ecology: Problems and Solutions", and said: "The fetus, given the opportunity to develop properly before birth, and given the essential early socializing experiences and sufficient nourishing food during the crucial early years after birth, will ultimately develop into a human being." Exactly how long this process of becoming a human being after birth, the Science Czar did not say. Holdren's co-authors were the leftists crazies, Paul and Anne Erlich, who also wrote the huge lie, the Population Bomb, in 1968. All three were big promoters of abortion. They were not in favor of abortion for the lame, "right to choose", no no! They saw abortion as a way to eliminate undesirables, (humans) from the planet. Holdren also co-authored, with the Erlich Nazis, an incredible leftist propaganda rag, called Ecoscience. Here are some examples of leftist "brilliance" on display. On Government confiscating babies: "...It would even be possible to require pregnant single women to marry or have abortions, perhaps as an alternative to placement for adoption..." On involuntary sterilization: The sterilizing capsule ..."could be implanted at puberty and might be removable, with official permission, for a limited number of births." On forced abortions: "...it has been concluded that compulsory population-control laws, even including laws requiring compulsory abortion, could be sustained under the existing Constitution..." Obama's Science Czar also championed the idea of mass involuntary sterilization, by putting a sterilization agent in our drinking water, but making sure we don't harm "pets or livestock." Holdren came out for surrendering our national sovereignty to "the Planetary Regime". The Planetary Regime would decide just how many children we can or cannot have. With the Obama Administrations total lack of respect for human life, and a Science Czar that would make Nazi's blush, are we smart to trust these people with our health care? If leftists so willingly and eagerly will murder babies, do you really think they will have a problem telling an older woman, "time for you to die lady!" These are long held beliefs of Holdren, yet Obama selected him anyway. This is science-fiction "mad-scientist" stuff. Yet, one has to wonder, why would Hopey Change pick such a radical for a Science Czar? Progressives have never had a problem with genocide to achieve their wacko beliefs. Margaret Sanger, a hero to the left, and the founder of America's baby killing fanatics, Planned Parenthood, was a racist, and wanted to use abortion to kill blacks and other minorites. In the past, when Hillary was asked about Margaret Sanger, and Sanger's heart of hatred, Hillary basically blew it off, and compared Sanger to Thomas Jefferson. (Isn't she sweet?) Another quote from the Planned Parenthood's founder: "We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social science backgrounds and engaging personalities...We don't want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population." Yet, Hillary glowingly received the Margaret Sanger Award earlier this year from the Planned Parenthood baby killing machine. I bring these points up to show you folks just how sick today's leftists are, and how a once great Democratic Party has gone straight to hell. Remember our buddy Michael Hendricks earlier this year, when I pointed out how California, almost bankrupt, was spending 14 million a year to keep stray cats alive an extra three days? The brainwashed Michael says, "aren't cats God's creatures too?" Yet, the diluted view from the other side, cannot see the difference between cats and babies, and neither can most of the sheep who voted Hopey Change in power to destroy this country. Folks, this is a nasty bunch now in power in America. They hate life, they hate freedom, they hate success, they hate individualism, they hate small business, they hate babies, they hate oil, they hate cars, they hate tax cuts, they hate the police, they hate Wall Street, they hate Doctors, they hate Nurses, they hate normality, they hate America, they hate the American people, they hate successful women who love their husbands, they hate the Border Patrol, they hate our military, they hate truth, they hate people who dare tell the truth, they hate prosperity, they hate God, they hate Israel, they hate Christians, they are simply the party of hate. (apparently, there is also a real hatred of "whitey" going on as well) Oh yeah, how could I forget, they hate Bush. Today's Democrat Party is a stinking mass of hate, and you want to trust this bunch with the life of your mom or dad when they grow a little older? You've got to be kidding. Oh, and while I am on my soapbox, which leftist crazy will tell Micheal J. Fox, that it is time for him to die? Which leftists goon will point out to Michael J. Fox that money spent on him, could be used to immunize illegal immigrant babies. Maybe money spent on Michael J. Fox could be used to provide a sex change operation for the Mayor of Silverton, Oregon. Be careful there, Mr. Fox, your pals may want you dead. You people sadden me. I could say you disgust me, but that would imply hate, which I don't feel. Instead of using your forum to try to affect real change, you only use it to spew vitriol and parrot the talking points of others.
SW,
No need to be overly PC. I have no problem saying that I've read comments that disgust me. Disgust does not have to be an agent of hate. It's only a state of repulsion at something deserving of such a feeling. Since I find some of the hateful and mindless comments that get made on these blogs, repulsive beyond compare, I'm not afraid to say they are disgusting. In fact, I'd probably be more worried if you weren't disgusted by some of the comments on here.
very good article !!
all points are well taken, thank you dear!

Can we say population control. With the young and the old.
Sam,
Sitting in Nebraska's and this nation's plenty, it seems impossible that some babies and children within this country are starving to death tonight.
Even greater numbers are suffering severe malnutrition, because their parents and other adult family members are incapable of applying for the available public and private resources.
Meanwhile, in southern Sudan, throughout Sub-Sahara Africa, huge portions of the former USSR, even within mainland China with all its newfound capitalist wealth, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indochina, Micronesia, even throughout the Americas, the Caribbean, Haiti, Central America and South America -- tens of millions of human beings are starving to death.
Until recently, the primary cause for starvation was disorganized and inadequate distribution.
Within the past quarter century, major food shortages worldwide have become endemic.
You may, in all your vainglorious ignorance, attempt to deny the reality of the POPULATION BOMB, but human catastrophe from over population is a matter of documented history.
In some cases, famine and starvation existed thousands of years before 18-wheelers were available to move food.
Before modern agriculture generated adequate food supplies in formerly disastrous conditions.
Even here, in some early frontier regions, pioneer families starved to death on the prairies and in the mountains.
The frontier ideal of at least a dozen children to help with the homesteads' work, sometimes backfired -- with too many mouths to feed with limited food resources.
Crops burned up, or died of early and late frosts, game disappeared in drought, flood and blizzard. More than 90% of Montana's beef herds died in one disastrous winter -- memoralized with Charles Russels graphic pencil sketches.
The scientists you slander never advocated any one approach. They simply outlined possibilities and Orwellian approaches to the situation which is approaching.
IT IS INEVITABLE, if the world's population is not restricted.
In particular, if the "bottom feeders" continue unrestrained breeding of drug-addled, limited intelligence and physically weakened children who are incapable of providing food and shelter for themselves -- they will inevitably starve within collapsing inner cities -- Unless you wish to donate 150% of your income to feeding them.
You remind me of a neighbor of my childhood -- Ol' Everett was a confirmed disaster.
One year, in range country, he plowed up twenty acres of creek bottom land and planted cotton -- where the nearest cotton gin market was at least 150 miles south of his land.
Then as usual, Ol' Everett retired to the pool hall for the growing season's duration, to expound at length of his theories for winning wars, controlling undesirable races and rebuilding prosperity in America.
Until, one Saturday morning at the edge of his twenty acres of unrestrained weeds, there appeared a 50'X50' clearing, with a large grave mound centered within 20 feet of the road.
At the Head of that grave was a marker, which read:
HERE LIES POOR EVERETT,
GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN,
IF HE HADN'T DIED,
HE'D HAVE HAD HELL
WITH HIS COTTON."
Ev has always remained in my memory, for his weed patch and grave, and for his declaration at an Ag Extension Service field day in 1939 -- when he stood, sent a huge stream of 'baccy juice onto the floor and declared, "You book farmers ain't gonna teach me nuthin', I've already wore out three farms."
Sam, it is reassuring to realize the spirit of Ol' Ev remains alive in you today.
Hank,
So am I reading your post correctly, you advocate population control, possibly through the means described by Sam?
Sceptre,
"As usual Sam, the Liberal response to your excellent insight is drivel and unsubstantial derogatory comments against posters. I see nothing from them except that "Obama Blindness" that their Secular Messiah or Der Fuhrer, pick one, inflicted on them."
To what are you referring to with this post?
Hank,
You haven't really cited any facts to back up your assertions. And while I don't dispute that there have been cases of starvation in our country, I would venture a guess that the amount would be pretty negligible. And it would likely not be from a dwindling food supply, but rather economic conditions.
However, you are correct. There is widespread starvation in many parts of the world, due to both overpopulation and under-production. So I do agree, that there could very possibly be a population problem looming in our planet's future. There may simply not be enough resources to supply the growth-rate that we've achieved as a species.
And I also believe it's disingenuous to suggest Mr. Holdren was ADVOCATING the solutions in "Human Ecology: Problems and Solutions". I hesitate to comment on this, having not had a chance to read the book in it's entirety. But the excerpts I've had access to do not suggest that it was a book advocating any specific policy as an answer to an over-population problem. But rather that it's a book laying out all potential/feasible solutions to an over-population problem.
Much like when we discuss war and military action against other countries, we keep all our options on the table. When we talk about potential conflict with Iran, we keep the nuclear option "on the table". That doesn't mean we are advocating the nuclear option, or that we desire to use the nuclear option. It simply means that we are AWARE that it's an option, not matter how horrible and distasteful we find it. And that, should the worst happen, that option is feasible.
So too we must keep all of our options on the table when we discuss non-immediate threats, like overpopulation, or global warming. This is understandably difficult, as evolution has wired our brains to better respond to immediate threats, rather than perceived threats in the future. For instance, 3,000+ died in the 9/11 attacks, and we take DRASTIC actions to ensure it never happens again. Yet an estimated *20,000+ Americans die every year due to lack of health care. We take no drastic action there, because it's hard to perceive it as an immediate threat (for most of us, anyway).
We should not undertake drastic measures, such as forced sterilization or banning the burning of fossil fuels, but we should still be aware that those options exist, and that (should the worst happen) are feasible.

Sceptre,
I guess I was just confused by your comment about the usual liberal response when there hadn't been any liberal response up to that point that I recall. The Liberal response didn't come until after your post and I still have no idea what Hank was trying to say. It seems to me you are jumping at shadows with a comment like that. You decry poor behavior where none had been presented. You appeared to be making arguments against an point of view that no one had given. I guess maybe that was a pre-emptive argument huh?
Sam and Sceptre, et al,
Suggest you go back and actually read my entire comment, especially the first third -- referring to what produces the vast majority of the bottom feeders in the U.S.
It sure as HELL is not the American Farmer who is responsible for global hunger.
Nor is it the Point Four and Agricultural Aid workers who have helped primitive farmers accelerate their practices by several thousand years in Africa, Asia, South America.
But in my lifetime, the Sahara, Gobi and other deserts have spread relentlessly.
Just as the Sonoran Desert would have spread permanently after 1930, except thinking, flexible farmers and ag scientists found ways to stop that desert's expansion from Mexico, through New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado and even having impact as far east as the Ohio valley for two years in the 1930s.
That essentially was the Dust Bowl -- expansion of the Sonoran Desert climate across much of the United States.
With progessively worsening Global Warning [The Arctic Ice cap has disappeared this year across vast reaches], it is reasonable to fear that a major reoccurrance of El Nino or El Nina ocean currents and weather patterns in the Pacific could produce drought conditions two to five times as severe as the 1930s. Then, you self annointed geniuses, you will see starvation.
Sceptre comes up with his/her knee jerk vitriolic attack BS -- accusing me of being anti-farmer.
Suggest you get out a map, either the old fashioned paper variety -- or Google Maps or Map Quest, maybe even Yahoo Maps -- and locate that great urban megapolis of Herndon. It is easy, start at McCook, go south across the Republican (in this case the river, not the party which left me) and continue south, looking off to the west around the state line.
Sceptre -- I will guarantee you I have seen more farmland in more states and worked with more farmers and farm organizations than you ever knew existed. At 13 and 70 lbs., I engineered the Threshing Run for our neighborhood -- because it made sense during WWII to free up a strong shovel hand from standing atop the threshing machine, which I would be repairing in the event of problems.
Because, from the age of five, I was inside that machine replacing rock maple bushings, repairing shaker pans and sheet metal.
That was WWII, when children worked 40-80 hour weeks on farms and ranches, because so many adult men were in uniform.
Women put on overalls and did heavy physical labor in the fields and with livestock, building and repairing fences, feeding, bucking hay bales and going back into the kitchen after sundown to prepare dinner.
Before my 21st birthday, Communist China was sending hordes of opium dulled men into our machine guns across Korea, wave after wave charging all night long -- with only about one in ten waves carrying any weapons.
Our industrialized military might was the instrument China used successfully to control its over population problem.
Some of the troops returning from Iraq have stress problems after having to defend themselves and kill from one to a dozen of the mercenaries sent against them.
A common occupational hazard in Korea were large circles burned through doubled and tripled mittens by the overheated tubes of air-cooled 30 caliber belt-fed machine guns -- fired from the hip until the barrels melted down and rounds were "keyholing" through the bodies.
Then grab another loaded 30 cal. and continue spraying copper jacketed slugs. With the first ammo belt exhausted, toss it to a loader, grab another with a fresh belt and keep firing.
From first dusk in the evenings, until full light at dawn, American farm boys would slaughter thousands of human beings in self defense.
And you wonder why some of us have absolutely NO RESPECT for DUBYAH and THE DRAFT DODGERS.
But you sanctimonious Certifiable Rectal Orifices will hurl insults, name call anyone who has been there, has seriously studied the real world and recognizes that simplicitic Latter Rain Movement religious fanaticism will not solve the nation or the world's problems.
No one wants to be in the position of deciding who eats and who dies. But in some parts of the world, those decisions have been made for years and are being made this week and will be made next week.
Usually, they are made on the basis of -- OUR TRIBE IS IN CONTROL, WE'LL SACRIFICE THE OTHER TRIBES.
Accusing a writer-- who was milking 18 cows by hand before his 12th birthday, who qualified with the income required of an American Farmer degree in FFA before his 14th year and who worked his way through an ag college following High Plains wheat harvests and mountain ranches' hay harvests, green pea harvests in eastern Washington and Oregon, sweet corn harvests in Illinois -- accusing me of being anti-farmer.
You dim bulbs have accused me of being a socialist, communist, racist, anti-farmer and any other slur your feeble brains can develop.
When you have no possible response, you claim I have no source for my facts.
The sources are with the WALL STREET JOURNAL, CONGRESSIONAL RECORD, THE ECONOMIST, PROGRESSIVE FARMER, FORBES, FORTUNE, BUSINESS WEEK, Natl. Association of Agri-Marketers, AGRIMARKETING NEWS, CROPS AND SOILS, KIPLINGER'S FARM REPORTS and dozens of trade magazines and newspapers world wide.
If your only sources are with the Than Franthico Thavage, Limbaugh, Coulter, Beck and their ilk, you will not recognize truth.
I have suggested before that some of you take a current photo of Than Franthico Thavage and visit the Folsom Street Fair in San Francisco -- Find your beloved leader, examine closely and see if you want to follow him into his favorite activities, with his social peers.
SAM, admission to some of those may require wearing of mascara, a little lipstick, eyebrow liner -- false eyelashes might help.
Are you sure you are up to it??
AS FOR THE TRANSPLANT -- I was being deliberately obtuse in response to Sam's nonsense. Taking scholarly exploration of the very real potential for a Global Disaster and attempting to use it as the basis for his uber-conservative diatribe.
Sam, if you and Sceptre and your crowd had the combined brains of a flock of Snow Geese, you would have been viewing the U.S. Senate and House of Representative channels--on all satellite services or cable -- and you would have seen ranking Republican Senators -- strongly endorsing virtually every Obama nominee for federal service management slots. [One in particular, the retired Marine general, veteran of Shuttle flights, named to head NASA.]
In committee, where the real work is accomplished, the GOP Senators have consistently endorsed Obama's nominees, WITH HIGH PRAISE FOR EACH NOMINEE'S QUALIFICATIONS, INTEGRITY AND SKILLS.
This administration has been bringing in the best and brightest professionals from every field -- Obama has not appointed a county-fair quarter horse race promoter to head FEMA or any other federal agency.
DUBYAH and THE DRAFT DODGERS filled management appointee slots with political hack clowns and buffoons, which is why the federal deficit exploded with them -- Well that, plus NO-BID SWEETHEART contracts for their cronies.
But we are supposed to forget the $34-BILLION+ Army Auditors identified as fraudulent charges and overbilling by Shotgun Cheney's old KBR outfit, or the $100-MILLION their pet BLACKWATER crowd defrauded and overbilled the taxpayers for.
You clowns are still trying to resurrect the phony baloney charges against the Clintons from the 1970s. As taxpayers, we were billed more than $25-MILLION for all the probes of the Clinton's -- the only thing that stuck was the clearly non-impeachable claim he didn't let the Beverly Hills sexual predator unzip his trousers.
Show me one man, or one woman, who when first caught in adultery -- did not deny it, unless they were caught red-handed with witnesses.
This summer, the GOP has had a parade of SUPER CHRISTIAN/PROMISE KEEPER/CLINTON BASHER politicians caught in gross adultery with a staff member's spouse, traveling at taxpayers expense to Argentina to engage in an adulterous affair.
Haven't seen a word from Sam, Sceptre of any other uber conservative about GOP adultery-- but you are still raving about Clinton giving in to a sexual predator.
REALITY -- Men and women who are high achievers are inclined to be sexually aggressive.
Wealthy men have always been inclined to have a mistress on the side. And guess what, most of those wealthy men are Republicans.
I've worked with groups of successful farmers, pillars of their communities, officers in state and national organizations, accumulators of seven and eight figure estates -- and every last one involved with a younger woman, while the mother of their children sat home with the kids.
But let us not forget, Senator John McCain, shacked up in Hawaii with a young blonde heiress, when his wife and the mother of his children entered the hospital with cancer. Noble John, walked in, served his wife (in her oncology ward bed) with divorce papers and walked out.
It is on the record. Where are the outraged Christian conservative howls about that conduct??
Hank,
Wow! I guess Sam and his crowd don't have the market cornered on hatred and vitriol eh? When did the Republican Party leave you?
SAM, admission to some of those may require wearing of mascara, a little lipstick, eyebrow liner -- false eyelashes might help.
Are you sure you are up to it??
Of course he is up to it. Check out a picture of Sam at his old blog site:
http://nebulousone.blogspot.com/
Can't handle it can you Buffy?
WOW! Not much difference between liberalism and the nazi. I guess the only difference is liberals just talks eugenics, the nazi's actually did it.
Dear HerndonHank,
Let me respond to your last question;
"Where are the outraged Christian conservative howls about that conduct??"
We Christians are to observe and honor Matthew 7:1-6, and also, Luke 6:37. I'll let you read it.
CPB,
In Matthew 19:9, it's specifically stated that divorce is adultery (see The Ten Commandments).
But, if Christians do honor Matthew 7:1-6, I will respect your lack of outrage on the matter. As long as you exercise the same lack of outrage when talking about everyone's actions concerning: homosexuality, gambling, abortion, euthanasia, sex education, polygamy, etc. etc. etc.
jhat,
Yes, we are to honor Matthew 19:9. I suggest going back to Matthew 19:3 to get the full context of what Jesus was describing. I am not aware of the Lord speaking out about sex education, or etc. etc. etc., but He's pretty clear about the others sins you have listed.
Boy did I get caught off guard, the Lord has a very specific command concerning sex education; Do NOT commit adultery, Commandment #7. Includes all sex outside of marriage.
CPB,
That's exactly my point man.
Hank asked "where are the outraged Christians?", speaking about Senator McCain's treatment of his first wife.
You replied with a bible verse about not judging people, meaning that it was not your (or any Christian's place, to judge Senator McCain.
What I'M saying is that you can't have it both ways. You can't say "It's not my place to judge, the bible commands us not to", about ONE person, and then go on and judge homosexuals, pro-choicers, polygamists as immoral.
At least be consistent about judging people based on the rules of your book. Don't selectively judge people when you want to, and then quote the "do not judge" passage when you want to give someone a free pass.
jhat,
I have gone over my entry many times, I don't see where I personally judged anyone. I am not the one who called those actions sins, Jesus did. Go ahead and look them up. I let Jesus do the judging.
CPB,
I'm not sure you are getting me here. Let me try to make my point more clearly.
The things I listed (including adultery) are sins according to the bible.
Mike asked why the Christians did not speak up about John McCain's adultery.
You responded with a bible verse, that specifically says "Do not judge", meaning (I assume) that you felt it was your place not to judge Mr. McCain for his adultery.
That's fine. And commendable. (I don't judge him either).
I did not accuse you of judging anyone. I simply asked, if you are in a situation where you're going to call a homosexual, or an atheist, or a polygamist (etc) immoral, remember the same passage that you just quoted. And remember that it's not your place to pass judgement (at least according to Matthew 7:1-6).
And because it appeared you were answering not just for yourself, but Christians in general (you said, "We Christians..."), remember to remind your Christian brothers and sisters to not judge a homosexual/atheists/pro-choicer, the same way you've chosen not to judge Senator McCain.
P.S. I'd like to know where Jesus called homosexuality/polygamy/abortion a sin.
(I'm not trying to be snarky there. I honestly am not aware of any scripture in which Jesus said it was a sin to commit these things. And I would appreciate it if you could let me know for future reference).
jhat,
Is adultery immoral, absolutely. Did John McCain commit adultery, yes he did. Is he immoral, that I leave to Christ. The same for the homosexual/atheist/pro-choicer/polygamist, what they do, is immoral. Are they immoral, again I leave that to Christ. As Christians, we are not to judge the sinner, we are to be there for them when they want to be saved.
When I say "We Christians", I am referring to those who believe the Bible, in its entirety, as the factual truth, not the hypocrites, who pick and choose what to believe in.
