Teachable Moment - Part 2Posted Sunday, April 19, 2009, at 5:16 PM
Question #4: "Why do you think Obama was elected on ignorance when over 69 million AMERICANS elected him? Are you honestly saying that over 50% of Americans are ignorant?" Answer: I'll answer the second part of the question first. Yes, I honestly think that currently, over 50% of voting Americans are ignorant. That leads me to how and why. The assault on Liberty and the United States from the left did not just begin with using Obama to gain power. No no no, the left has been out to kill America for decades. One of the first steps the left took was to have US Senators elected by the people, instead of the way the founders provided. Senators were to be chosen by the individual State Legislatures. This one step...was shot in the head to States Rights. Along the way, the World's Communists, leftists and Liberty haters, used several other tactics to dumb down our citizens. Citizens that now expect some government bureaucrat to meet their every need. - the left constantly attacks institutions that made America the Land of the Free. They have attacked the oil industry, timber industry, fishing industry, manufacturing industry, tobacco industry, auto industry, steel industry and basically attack all business. Using their willing accomplices in the lapdog media, folks in America have been under a constant and steady barrage of leftists propaganda since 1960. - the left has turned education into indoctrination centers. They no longer seek to educate, they seek to turn out little Socialist robots, and they have been successful. The absolute takeover and installation of leftist educational Fascism and continual anti-God and anti-Christian rhetoric has convinced entire generations that there is no God, except for government controlled by leftists. - Pop culture, defined and promoted by our treasonous media, has worked to kill the notion of individual rights. They worked to foster the "it takes a village" leftist religious theology. - leftist Judges have found the right to murder our own kids in the Constitution, and after fifty million murders, the very souls of millions of Americans has been lost or destroyed. Americans no longer value the GOD given right to life. - Allowing eighteen year old's to vote when they are not deemed mature enough to even have a beer, has also helped the leftist takeover. No way eighteen year old's should be voting, and the leftists know that they can manipulate these young minds in Colleges, when they have no real life experience. It was an easy way to sway the balance of power. - the left steadily promotes rights, without promoting the accompanying responsibilities that go along with rights. JFK said, "Ask not what you country can do for you," and he may have been the last Democrat to ever make a statement like that. - the phony Christian ploy was an excellent move. You lefties have no problem voting for Obama when he says he is a Christian, because you know he is not. Obama is not a Christian, yet lying about it moved enough Catholic votes to sway the election. Christians do not bow before Muslim royalty. Christians do not work to kill the unborn. Christians do not work to steal money from people, nor to get money they did not earn. The phony Christian ploy probably gave Obama enough Christians voters, Christian voters propagandized by a treacherous media, to put him over the top. - the final harpoon into the heart of America was brought about by liberals in power. They used Fannie Mae, etc., to force banks to make horrible loans, under threats of prosecution for racism. (This was repugnant, but they did it anyway) Then last year, right before the elections, various leftist forces went into action. Lead by George Soros and Hugo Chavez, and willing leftists in the USA, made a run on our market system. The media, in love with Obama, and not wanting to report the truth, spread the lies that Republicans were to blame. A stupid populace fell for it. If the truth is ever allowed to come out, we will find that liberal Democrats caused this entire mess. The sick part is...they did it on purpose. - AND, should we mention the racism of black America, who voted in lockstep for Obama because they were sold the notion that Obama was a black man? Again, I have never quite understood how that works. Obama uses his white mother's birthright to even run for President, yet claims to be a black man, when there is much evidence to suggest that Obama's Kenyon father was really an Arab. Frankly I don't care about race the way Democrats do, but race is apparently the single issue to black Americans. So important was race, I contend that they acted as racists. Question #5: "Why did you demand that President Bush deserve respect after eight years of his presidency but you won't give the same to Obama in less than 100 days of his?" Answer: President Bush was a moderate to liberal Republican. Even though I personally disagreed with many of his moderate and liberal leanings, I believe Bush loves this country. I can not say that about Obama. I believe that Bill and Hillary love America. I cannot make that statement about Obama. President Bush was sucessful in business and was the Governor of Texas. He had actual experience, yet he tread lightly when it came to making sweeping changes that might have horrible consequences. Obama on the other hand, wants to make unproven Socialistic changes that will adversely effect not only the USA, but the World economy. Obama has no experience, is a pawn of the world wide left, runs around the world bad-mouthing America and Americans, and just how is that worthy of respect? Also, I don't believe that the American Presidency is the place for affirmative action. Obama is the affirmative action President. Affirmative action is racism. You cannot have respect for a person who gets a job they did not earn. Question #6: Why do you protest against unfair taxes that Obama hasn't yet even thrust upon you, but you continue to support those businesses that you have to pay taxes for because they don't?" Answer: This question has liberal propaganda running clear through it. The truth is, that in America, businesses pay WAY TO MANY taxes. EXXON, a leading target of leftists haters, pays billions upon billions of dollars in taxes, and produces a product we need and want. Liberals produce nothing, and yet claim they have rights to everything. This has been a lie of the left for some time now, that businesses don't pay taxes. The biggest obstacle to success for Americans going into business...IS the US Government and governmental greed. The government's greed is fostered by the greed of liberals themselves. Liberal greed to have what someone else worked for. Liberal greed to be promoted into jobs they did not earn. I'll be back with more answers to Michael's questions. I know this is a bit tedious, but Michael asked these questions, not really expecting to get answers, I think. Most of these questions were just liberal cliches, however, by answering them, I believe you folks will see the true heart of liberalism. WOW! Speak on, Sam.
The only exception that I will voice publicly is your statement regarding 18 yr olds voting. I don't understand why you think being old enough to drink a beer makes you smarter but okay given. The main point here is you can look back on all the elctions over the past few years since 1994. Neither side has really gotten the 18yr olds out to vote since Clinton was somewhat successful in 1992. If you take out all the 18-24 yr olds that voted, you still have an electorate that voted for Obama.
President Bush was a successful businessman? Was that before or after his many, many, many failed businesses. I don't really remember one of his businesses being successful. Hell, even failed as a part owner of the Texas Rangers.
And you are going to honestly sit there and tell us that Bush was a moderate to liberal Republican? In what universe?
I know Conservatives are the great apologizers for bad business but sam even this is too much. The numbers are out there and they are fact. We, the American people, and you sam, pay $16 Billion a year in EXTRA taxes that BIG businesses fail to pay because they have offshore accounts. Now I'm talking about small business, I am talking BIG business.
But you have proved my point sam. The teabag even had nothing at all to do with taxes for the protesters would have been protesting ALL taxes levied against them. However, they weren't, they were simply protesting against taxes they THINK Obama MAY levy over the coming years. All this was, in the end, was a hate filled protest. I have no quarrals with that. If they want to protest let them protest, but don't hide behind the Boston Tea Party.

I once again take exception mike. The "teabag" event, as you called it, in my opinion, was not about current taxes. I believe most of the protesters were arguing about the bailouts. And the pros and cons on those are debatable. You have been watching too much Jeanene Garafalo. I saw some signs that could be considered hateful, but I guess that is the exclusive province of liberals. I didnt see anyone trying to block traffic or access to anything. The biggest problem I have with a lot of liberals is the fact that they cant seem to take ANY criticism of President Obama. I certainly hope you are not in that group.
You lay such blame for things you disagree with at the feet of a supposed liberal conspiracy to take over the nation. But let's remember who made those decisions.
" One of the first steps the left took was to have US Senators elected by the people, instead of the way the founders provided"
The 17th amendment which amended the constitution to require the election of senators by the people instead of the legislature was passed by the 62nd congress in 1911 (Senate) and 1912 (House) and ratified by the states in 1913.
The senate was controlled by the republicans, the house was controlled by the democrats. Taft was President.
10 states never ratified the 17th amendment, 8 of them had voted democratic in the last presidential election.
"leftist Judges have found the right to murder our own kids in the Constitution"
The Roe v Wade decision broke down 7-2. With only White and Rhenquist dissenting.
Here is each justice and which president appointed them:
Burger - Nixon
Douglas - FDR
Brennnan - Eisenhower
Stewart - Eisenhower
Blackmum - Nixon
Marshal - Johnson
Powell - Nixon
*Dissenters*
White - JFK
Rhenquist - Reagan
5/7 of the justices who passed the ruling were appointed by republicans. 1/2 of the dissenters were appointed by republicans.
"Allowing eighteen year old's to vote when they are not deemed mature enough to even have a beer, has also helped the leftist takeover"
President Eisenhower was the first president to openly support giving 18 year-olds the right to vote. Nixon signed the bill. The Senate and House both had democratic majorities, but guess what? It passed UNANIMOUSLY in the Senate and had only 19 votes agasint it in the House. It was also was ratified by the states faster than any other amendment.
I know you're frustrated at these things Sam. I get frustrated at some things our government does to. And I know it's easy to simply blame decisions you disagree with on some grand leftist conspiracy to ruin the country. You seem to consistently blame the left for everything you disagree with. I understand that it's easier to have a 'bad guy' to blame, but it's simply not realistic. You can't simply just decry everything you don't like as a 'leftist' move to take over the country. I don't agree with alot of positions on the right, but I don't think they are secretly conspiring to ruin the country. I just think that they have different ideas about how it should be run. (and I also think that currently the majority of the population disagrees, which is how democracy works.)
