Father God:

Thank you Lord for the United States of America, and for all our many blessings.

I would like to ask You to grant Wisdom to President Obama, so he may properly govern this Blessed country. I would ask You to grant President Obama Sober Humility so that he may fully understand the awesome privilege and responsibility he has been granted.

I would ask Lord for you to help me to be governable and a good citizen. Help me to fight for ideas and to respect all citizens working for a better country.

Be patient with us Lord, we are struggling with moral issues. Help me, and every citizen, along with President Obama to make honest and heartfelt decisions regarding hard moral issues that effect all of mankind.

Grant President Obama with your Heart on tough decisions as to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.

Grant President Obama guidance and sound judgement in dealing with our enemies, and help me to work towards a more perfect consensus on tough issues. Help me to show optimism and pride in my government and leaders.

Please Lord, surround President Obama with people of excellence, who use their talents to better America. Help me to do the same thing.

Please protect my right to make arguments for the Heart and Soul of America, and grant President Obama the courage and strength to defend America, and stand for Liberty around the World.

Lord, please protect the President and his family from harm, and God Bless America. I thank You in Christ name.

Amen.

With my AMEN, we have enough for a good rousing praise song. Nah, think I'll just keep praying along the same lines as you, Sam.

Wow! Second 'Well Said' in the same day.

To one and all, In Messiah, His Shalom, and brotherhood. Arley

Marcus --

Of course atheists aren't going to have much to say on this post. Why is this worthy of note? While I'm sure bobyyy and any other atheists (including myself) wish President Obama well and have high hopes for his term, they don't believe that prayer has any effect. And since we understand that you have the right to pray for whomever or whatever you wish, why we would comment on the prayer? I wouldn't have bothered except to answer Marcus's question.

"That's what he said! That's what the man said! He said that!"

I'll give ya five bucks Orville if you can tell me what famous radio personality used to say that saying frequently.

Thanks for reading bro!
