In Defense Of The Rich

In Defense Of The Rich

Greed and envy have been effective political weapons for some time now. Democrats have been drilling it into people's heads that they have a "right" to someone else's money. The whole income tax system was born of greed and persecution.

I have news for you, the rich in America do not persecute the poor. It is the other way around. I grow tired of this notion that wealthy folks in BMWs are holding up the homeless, under the bridge, and stealing their beer money.

In days of old, taxing someone was considered so atrocious, that Kings would only tax the people of nations they conquered. Today of course, there is no honor in our Government, and the greed, and pure criminal activity that has gone on by our elected representatives, is beyond belief. My friends, there is no Social Security fund. Every single dime, that every single American has been forced to send in to the federal government for Social Security, has been wasted by our elected representatives. Truly, the greed that exists in the United States today lies with the US Government, and the needlessly poor. These two HUGE special interest groups, are far more responsible for any economic problems today than business.

(except for lawyers, of course, but don't even get me started)

The top one percent of wage earners pay more than half of the income tax debt. Doesn't sound very fair, does it? Oh, unless you are a fan of Robin Hood. Robin Hood was a thief. If he wanted to help the poor, he could have found a job, and contributed his own money to the poor, and encourage others to follow his splendid example, instead, he chose the easy way. Stealing. Somehow, over time, the ideal of Robin Hood, the ideal that you can steal from the rich, simply because they are the rich, has become popular.

The rich are necessary folks. We need the rich. They buy things, invest money, fund banks, take vacations, buy second homes, purchase RV's, employ people, and yes, by God…they pay taxes, at an unfair rate.

The rich are not who you need to worry about. You need to stop hating anyone who has a dime more than you do. The greediest, most underhanded and wasteful entity going in America is our own Government. Somehow, they have got many followers to believe that the government can be rich…FOR THEM.

If President Elect Obama goes ahead with his hard left agenda to rob the rich, it doesn't help anybody…except government.

Finally, someone who is brave enough to state publicly what most working folks think privately. Thanks, Sam
