Support Obama, No Parking sign taking from crooksandliars.com and from CNN
But the attacks didn't stop there. In rallies over last weekend when John McCain asked who the real Obama was some moron in the crowd shouted Terrorist. In another rally, people were calling him a traitor. At a campaign rally this past week McCain, honorably tried to stem this tide. He failed miserably (but not to his deteriment). He was doing a town hall meeting and a man in the audience said he was afraid of Barack Obama becoming president. John McCain told the man and the audience that they had no reason to be afraid, that Obama was a decent American and a decent family man and someone who deserved respect. McCain was booed. A few minutes later he handed the mic to a woman who proceeded to call Obama a Muslim, McCain quickly took back the mic and said that no, in fact, Obama, wasn't a Muslim he was a great man and one that would be a good president, that the only difference between the two men were their policies. Again the crowd booed John McCain. Once the McCain team actually saw what was going on they tamed their attacks to not going after his character but after his policies. Doing this, I believe, is their best chance to get back in this race. To top all this off there is a man in the east that is actually banning anyone who supports Obama from parking in his parking lot. If it is his parkng lot then it is his right to ban whoever he wants to from that lot, but I truly believe that if a man or woman or whoever had a sign saying the same about McCain this would have been bigger news. One thing I have noticed, especially on these boards, is the tact that most supporters are taking supporting thier candidate. On the McCain side, his supporters are for the most part being nasty and ugly towards Obama. They say what they hear to be true, they don't do their own research to make sure what they are about to say is true or not. One even wished harm on another human being. They have pumped up the fear making sure anytime they talk about Obama they make sure they mention his middle name. But in attacking Obama they leave out McCain and Palin's own skeletons they offer nothing that McCain would do in office. It is just simply attack attack and make it as nasty as possible. For the most part those who don't support McCain have offered up facts to the distortions and haven't gone nasty. I do not include myself in this category because honestly some of the attacks I have seen against Obama on these boards have simply been sick and disgusting. There is a level of hate for Obama I don't think anyone has ever seen for someone leading in the polls. It is my wish that BOTH candidates would focus on the issues instead of attacking each other. Most Americans can't stand personal attacks and would rather hear how the candidates stand on issues that matter to them. That would be in a perfect world, which we surely are not in. WOW! I've Never seen so much pro Democrat crap written on one subject in my life. I want to puke!
Obviously YOU wouldn't like FOX news since they are the only ones that exploit the truth instead of just backing Obama with zombie like furvor like CNN, CBS, and NBC.
You're so pro Demon-crap that you don't care what radical/terroristic associations Obama has had and continues to have, in his life. You don't feel his fondness/love affair to Bill Ayers should be a concern to the people of the United States whom he spent several years killing? Yep, sounds like someone I'd want leading my country. You get tired of everyone criticizing Obama for his piss poor judgement? TOUGH! It's about time YOU pulled YOUR head out and examine the facts. Are you so blind with Obama lust that this subject matters little to you?
If you think for one second that the majority of muslums in the US are here for the betterment of the US, you're sadly mistaken. They're slowly but surely trying to turn this country into another crappy Islamic state. Money sent to the Mosques in this country by these pests are being sent overseas to fund muslum extremists so they can make more IED's and expand their terroristic crap around the world. There's a school here in the US that had to drop pork off of it's menu because it offends these animals.(Give me enough time and I will find the name and mention it)Slowly but surely they'll turn this country into the crap hole England is slowly being turned into by this group of imbicles.
It's funny, if you say anything negative about Obama you're a racist. If you call him by his entire name, you're a racist. If you make mention of his association with Reverend Wright (remember him? The preacher that preached hatred towards the US for over 20 years to Barrack and his wife?), you're a racist.
It's pretty easy to look the other way on this issue and spout crap about economy when YOUR candidate is being scrutinized about his loyalty to his country. Sorry, but loyalty to this country is of the utmost concern to me in this election.
I hope enough level headed people turn out to the voting booths to keep the Obama disease from spreading.
Jim
Well I am with you I hope level headed people do show up at the polls and you obviously won't be one of them. If you are going to seriously sit there and tell us that the majority of Muslims are out to get us then you have clearly fallen into the politics of fear trap.
There is the same percentage of fringe Muslims trying to kill us as fringe Christians. In every society there is a fringe faction that tries to destroy everything that society holds dear. What keeps societies going is the rest of us don't play into the fear of the fringe and keep them on the fringe.
You are right Fox News doesn't support Obama they support McCain and read his talking points as actual news.
The only people who are questioning Obama's patriotism is Palin and her rabid supporters. McCain has even called him a great American. So the question is are you still going to vote for the "terrorist sympathiser" John McCain? I think you will and will have no problem with it. As long as it isn't Barack Obama you obviously don't care who it is. This is not a racial thing you would just rather see anyone, no matter what they have done in their past (even bombing Americans) be elected other than Barack Obama.
Michael "Hussein" Hendricks
Geez Mike, I can't believe you think Bush had to :hype up 9/11! What else was it other than the worst attack on American soil ever? You are so blinded by your hate for Bush you can't see clearly. Maybe Obabma should be at least scrutinized for his medling with foreign affairs as was just broken by the NY Times. At the very most he should be brought up on treason because this kind insubbordination only puts this country at risk while he is trying to solidify his own interests to become president. That's what is really sickening.
If you think that Joe Biden and Obama are not running the same kind of campaign as Palin/McCain than you blinded by your hate as I said before. Nancy Pelosi and her cohorts are some of the most vile mouthed non patriots I have ever seen and it makes me ashamed that Americans can stoop to such lows to get what they want.
Maybe some people give Obama the same reaction to his associations ie. Bill Ayers, as libs to for Bush for everything that is wrong with this country whether it's actually his doing or not. Most of it is not because congress, federal reserve, and the supreme court seem to have more power in this country than any one man.
I can't wait for us to chat here once we've had one year of Obama and this country becoming subservant to the readical Muslim nations in an effort to defend ourselves, which won't work, and a healthcare system that will further bankrupt our country.
Later.
Put down the pot pipe Michael.
First off, John only called Hussein Obama a "great American" so you Democrapic idiots would get off of his back about bashing the radical muslum sympathizing turd. And when did John bomb Americans? I guess they'll let any moron get a blog site here huh?
You think there are the same amount of fringe Christians trying to kill us as fringe muslums? Name one.
You want to elect an idiot (Hussein) that thinks it's OK for Iran to have nuclear weapons even though their terroristic dictator openly stated that Israel needed to be wiped off of the face of the earth, and wants to stop foreign aid to Israel? Sounds like a muslum sypathizer to me. But I'm just a stupid "Clinging to my guns and religeon" redneck.
Jim "Open season on muslums, no rag limit" Foster
Mike,
You say we don't research our facts but just use the republican talking points... I have yet to see you give us any references, but yet we post where we get our information from.
All I hear from you is a love for Obama and his socialist views, but nothing to back up the attacks you put out on the republicans.
Two questions I have and two comments...
Jim, would you please direct me to your source of information that Obama "thinks it's OK for Iran to have nuclear weapons"?
Justin, would you please direct me to where you got your "...medling with foreign affairs as was just broken by the NY Times"? I went to the NY Times web site but can't find it.
Michael - You certainly spout the Democrats talking points as well as anybody without providing references as proudconservative pointed out.
I will say that I think the comment "John only called Hussein Obama a "great American" (to paraphrase the comment) so Democrats would get off of his back" is off base as I don't think either of the candidates would bow to that type of pressure. There may be a lot of calculation in his remarks, but just to get people off his back probably isn't one of them.
Sorry, my bad...it was the Washington Times. Here is your article
http://washingtontimes.com/news/2008/oct...
Mike, I still can't get over how your credibility on anything is worth toilet water after you claim that Bush "hyped up" 9/11. I remember you crying over the VT masacre for weeks on end. 9/11 changed everything in this country good and bad. We are now nearly broke because of it. They accomplished their mission by killing thousands of people as well as slowly killing our economy in several ways. We have become justifiably paranoid of Muslims and radical nations including Iraq because we fear the next attack.
Why would anyone ever want that to happen again? Why would any president ever want that to repeat on their watch? Why would anyone even want to be president these days. I don't know how to fight these terrorists. I don't think we can ever get rid of them and I know sure as heck we'll never get along with them unless we give up our freedoms and convert to Islam.
So you go right ahead and convert to Islam Mike, I'm going to stay here and protect my family with whatever I have to use to continue my christian life and carry out mt God given freedom!
Brianhoag,
It was in reference to the fact that Obama said that "Iran is a tiny country and poses no threat to us." This sentence was repeated many times in the news on all channels. He was questioned about whether we should attack Iran before they succeed in making atomic weapons. In other words, he didn't feel like Iran would pose a threat to the world regardless what they made because the nation of Iran is small.
Jim
Justin - Thanks for the link as it ended up sending me looking for information that I never expected to be looking at again about Obama's birth certificate. I look forward to seeing the court ruling on the lawsuit about citizenship requirements to become president!
Jim - Thanks for your response too. I see where you are coming from, and I appreciate your comments as a dialog between people about the issues important to them because it is critical as part of a spirited debate.
Mike,
What is your take on Obama limiting free speech in Missouri with their Truth Squads? Using law enforcement to scare people with legal action is a definate violation of an individuals constitutional right to free speech.
http://www.kmov.com/video/index.html?nvi...
It has also come out that Obama has given $800,000 to ACORN. The same ACORN that has been submitting false voter registrations in swing states. The $800,000 was "mistakenly" misrepresented in federal reports.
http://www.canadafreepress.com/index.php...
Guess that wasn't the ACORN that Obama knew... oh wait, he didn't have any relationship with ACORN. Yeah right. Just like Ayers was a guy in his neighborhood. Do a google search with the terms: obama ayers annenberg you will see the connections are far beyond "just a guy who lives in my neighborhood". And how did he get into that neighborhood? Tie in Tony Rezco here. Another link to bad judgement by Obama. http://www.suntimes.com/news/politics/12...
I am not saying that Obama is a terrorist, but rather a really bad judge of character. This is someone that we cannot count on to be a leader based on who he has connections to. While McCain may have his own skeletons, they do not have the same amount of controversy that Obama has.
Obama has continually had to "adjust" his representations after people start fact checking his associations and statements.
Mike, Mike, Mike...I just can't get over how assinine liberalism is and why you tout it so much. I just heard Obama tell a plumber who had some questions for Barack about his taxes getting raised. Barack had this to say, " I don't want to punish your success, we just want to support the people behind you to make sure that they have a chance at success too...it's good when you spread the wealth around to everybody."
No, it's not dummy. That's why we have maggots of society now. Why the heck would anybody want to work if you get paid to sit on your butt and smoke cigarettes all day?
Tell me exactly how this guy is going to actually change something. Guess what Mike, we're already giving losers money to buy more drugs and dash any hope that their kids may someday enjoy success. Giving them "free" money will only make more of them.
I'll tell you what, I'll sell my business right now, you go out and start working 80 hours a week to make $50,000 then give me $15,000 a year so that I can buy food and house payment. Then all I have to do is work JUST enough to make about...oh I say another $10-15K so that I can start smoking pot and drinking beer and going to the bars everynight and leave my kids home. My health will go to crap but what would I care, I only make $15K/yr...I'll have Medicaid!!! Yeah! Now I can get all my medical bills covered for doing nothing other than being a drag on society.
You know what Mike, I work damn hard and make a lot of sacrifices for my wife and kids and bottom feeders that only do enough to buy beer, cigs, and dope have it better than I do while paying for our own insurance that I just about can't afford. We'd like to have more kids, can't afford to with our plans. Need some surgery..to bad, can't afford it.
Meanwhile the single mom with 2 kids down the street can even though she's got a live-in boy toy in a house that is federally funded and they can go to the Dr. all day long and go Dr. shopping for pain killers to load up on while they're smoking dope and drinking all on the Federal governement.
Spread the wealth around? NO THANKS B.O.! I think the hand-outs are too good already. Do you not know these people Mike? Are you living in a gated community? Still in school or something? Come to McCook and I'll give you the tour of the abuse of the system that was supposed to help people. Heck, I'm sure I can give you the tour anywhere in America.
Spreading the wealth is not a new idea Mike, it's not change at all, in fact it was the norm before Reagan, and look how our country has prospered since then. Carter's admin was a mess. Why do we want that again?
I swear, you guys are so wooed by B.O. that he could be saying "toaster ovens we can believe in," or "we need more Rice Krispies in Washington." What would guys be doing? Up, buying more Rice Krispies and toaster ovens and you wouldn't even know why.
ProudConservative brought up some good points. When are you going to realize that B.O. is just another lying politician out for more power and money. ACORN and Bill Ayres are great examples. BO has about as many abd association in 8 year of politics as John McCain has for his 30 some years. I don't think BO is a bad judge of character, I think he just uses whoever he needs to get what he wants and that's just plain bad character. Do we want that kind of character in the white house?
B.O. couldn't get anything accomplished as a "community organizer" as I have read in articles and he even too all the credit for that while there were other involved. He didn't do anything as a civil attourney either, all he did was state his name in court and fell silent during precedings. Much like he does in the U.S. Senate.
I think B.O. is like one of these slick talking CEO's that can't run a business to save their neck. The sink on ship and then talk their way right on to another, until he sinks it, and so on.
I'll be waiting for your proof of B.O.'s many accomplishments while he was a community organizer and state senator. Oh yeah, you can't get it off his campaign website either. I don't even think BO himself knows what his website says he stands for. We want actual facts, sorry.
I would love to comment on all the comments made here, but my fingers are too old to type fifteen volumes. Therefore, I will make short comments to the following, and hobble for cover.
Hey Justin76, Nice post, but one problem. Should Senator Obama be elected, I can only guess, based on only a few news articles, and a couple of comments, resources like this 'blog' site, may well not be available in a years time. But, that is only my personal, and probably biased opinion. I cite, below, the part I am addressing:
I can't wait for us to chat here once we've had one year of Obama and this country becoming subservant to the readical Muslim nations in an effort to defend ourselves, which won't work, and a healthcare system that will further bankrupt our country.

Dear 'ekimsitruc, One of these days you might enlighten me about the meaning of your 'handle.'
the statement you make about 'Obama's patriotism' only being questioned by 'Palin' (seems you forgot her honorarium of Governor), is somewhat ignorantly w r o n g ! Senator Obama's patriotism was being challenged quite some time before she came on the scene of the Presidential race (yep, even before I,and probably you, even knew she existed).
Then, you compound your ignorance (no better term exists) by tacking on "terrorist sympathizer" (note that I spelled it right) by the honor slashing of Senator mcCain's good name. Shame on you, sir, you are no friend of mine, nor this country, as far as I am concerned. Please allow me one guess: You have never in your born days served one of them in service to this country, nor have you ever (again in your born days), been shot at, be it hit, or miss. Senator, John McCain DID! He got hit, and luckily, most of the rest of us got missed.
You have your First Amendment right, to deride, and show your contempt of Senator McCain (or anyone else you deem to attack). Because of him, and people just like him, fighting, being wounded, or even dieing, preserves all your Constitutional rights, thus, to impugn his character, and/or American loyalty, spits in the eye of your First Amendment right, which you so flippantly use in your diatribes against people you detest, or even disagree with.
I dislike very few people, in this world, but you, sir, I believe I could, with minimal effort. Your respect for your fellow man, based on the verbiage you espouse, is wanting, at best.
Bad Muslim's will kill you when they see you. Good, moderate, Muslim's (most of them) will kill you, only when they are ordered to by one of the Bad Muslim types. As much as they would hate to do it, you would be just as dead. Koran explains it quite well.
The following, of your post, especially your signature, is what has upset me so much (not, I feel, that it matters to you:
"...The only people who are questioning Obama's patriotism is Palin and her rabid supporters.

To one and all, my apology for my temper. Those who know me will understand.
When we enlisted into the Military forces of the United States of America, we took a vow, a very solemn vow, to protect the Constitution, from without, and within. I do not remember that when separated from military service, I, or anyone else, was released from that vow.
We have a fantastic right, but with it also is conjoined sincere responsibility.
Shalom in Messiah, to one and all. Arley Steinhour
PS, If anyone missed the association, I am, I believe Conservative, by choice.//as//
ekimsitruc is Mike and Curtis backwards.
There has been a lot of comments on this board and the only things that I come away with that has been said on here is liberals bad, conservatives good. All Muslims are out to get us (not anyone else in the world just Americans). Apparently by the time we get through one year of an Obama presidency, none of us would be able to talk freely, where that's coming from I'll never guess. Every single one of you HATE Barack Obama, and claim that I hate John McCain, I don't, I don't agree with his politics but I don't hate the man. I respect his service to this country. I don't hate anyone to be perfectly honest. But, anyone reading these blogs and how I have been protrayed would believe that I hate everything conservative. I don't.
An the reason I signed my middle name Hussein is simple. I was showing that a middle name is nothing to be afriad of, that just because a person's middle name is of Arab descent doesn't mean that person is Arab or Muslim. My middle name is actually Curtis which is traditionally a black name, does that make me a black man? Certainly not.
Franklin Roosevelt wisely said once, "We have nothing to fear, but fear itself." I think it's time this nation take this to heart again. When we fear other people simply because of their name or what their heritage they come from nasty things happen, Nazi's putting Jewish people in Concentration camps and the United States putting Japanese people in Internment Camps. Fear is the basis of hate and right now there is a lot of fear in this country. My hope is one of these candidates can one day ease these fears and my pick is Barack Obama. Yours may be John McCain. Thank God we have a country where we can pick.
I think in all honestly we should do what other democratic countries do. Instead of having primaries to determine two candidates we should just have a complete open relationship. Maybe then, we would have candidates that brought Americans together instead of dividing us.
I do find interesting your bringing up of ACORN though. In 2000 and 2004 when charges of voter fraud were brought up a lot of Republicans were just laughing and saying that it was just us Democrats trying to steal the election and yet now when it appears (who knows really until November 4) that a Democrat (god forbid) could win the White House you are now serious about it.
From what I have read and heard ACORN has a lot to answer for and if they have done half of what they have been charged then there are serious problems. Fortunately it's being caught now instead of after the election.
Back to ACORN it turns out that in 2006 McCain spoke at an even sponsored by ACORN, this doesn't come from CNN or MSNBC, this comes from ACORN themselves.
The point here is politicians as a whole have a seady past.
What we need today is our politicians focusing on fixing our economy instead of trying to trash each other.
Well, you figured it out. Liberalism is socialism in sheep's clothing, and yes that does equal bad. Conservatism is capitalism the way it should be and that equals good. I think history has proven this. You are wrong however, I've never said andything about hating anybody. I haven't even said I like McCain over BO. I do however dispise liberalism and everything it has done to our society.
I really don't think John McCain epitimises true conservatism as say Huckabee or Ron Paul do. McCain just had more relationships, backers, and more importantly money to get where he needed to be in the race. Money talks and BS walks.
Having spoken at an ACORN sponsored event does not mean that they endorse the group. You failed to even address the question of Obama lying when asked about his relationships.
Your Liberal hero Obama is esentially throwing the constitution away and promoting socialism.
"From each, according to his ability; to each, according to his need." - Karl Marx
Lets translate this... Taken From each person, according to their abilities (work, money, resources, etc.) Given to another person according to their needs (health care, money, energy, food, etc.)
He is promoting wealth redistribution by taxing the people who make the money and giving it to the people that drag society down. AKA expanding welfare. By getting more people relying on the government, he is effectivly eliminating their desires to achieve greater wealth through hard work.
Government provided health care, nationalizing the banking system, nationalizing the energy sector. These all go against the constitution. The constitution does not empower the government, it places LIMITS upon what the government can do.
Where in the constitution does it say that you deserve to be rewarded for doing nothing? Open your eyes and realize that Obama is against everything our forefathers fought for. Obama's version of change is extremly bad for America.
Duh, duh, and more duh. What is it about common sense these liberals don't get proud conservative? Have they ever realized that expanding these so called benefits for people who contribute nothing is just Marxist socialism? Or more impprtantly, when are they going to come to terms with the fact that expanding welfare is nothing more than whoring themselves out for VOTES at our expenses?!?!?!?
Let Obama put up his own money to give to crack heads. Listen to this:
--Take down border fences= buy more latino votes
--Expand welfare= buy more non-tax payer votes, which also equals what..50% of the US popluation?
Free college tuition= buys more inner city black votes
Think about about it. Who pays for all this? Not Barack or Nancy Pelosi, but hard working americans and people that have had great ideas or worked very hard to make something for themsleves, create jobs for other Americans, maybe they'd like to get ahead enought to retire early, pass on the business to the next generation, whatever. What is the government want to do with these businesses, steal their hard and well deserved money and give it to a bunch of slouchers that don't want to get off the couch and take of their own kids. That sounds fair.
Hey Obama, if you want to spread the wealth around so that others can enjoy the same success as you...I need to put up a building for my business and it's going to cost about $90,000 and I don't have the capacity right now to make payments on something like that, yet I need to to grow my business and succeed. So how about you redistribute some of the $30,000 a year you spend just on your little girls' dance and music lessons so that I can succeed like you.
What? Oh..you didn't mean your money would be redistributed, or Nancy Pelosi's or Harry Reid, or Al Gore's because their money is all locked up in S-Corp dividends and you're not paying taxes. I'm sorry I thought that we were all in this together, but really it's just for the rest of us to bare the burden. Whatever.
I for one will be glad when the election is over. Nothing inflames the masses more than politics. Both parties do a fabulous job of turning reasonable people into fanatics, who defend their candidate like he/she was their own child even if they couldn't stand the candidate prior to the party nomination. The country needs leadership with integrity, wherever it comes from. I find both parties to be lacking and all our candidates are flawed. But, someone needs to win and try to lead us to a better place. I hope whomever it is gets your support.
